40mg var experience - WEEK 1

on day 10 now.

40mg ED for 8 weeks -- var only cycle

(1 pill taken each morning with about 16 oz grapefruit juice)
(also taking Tylers D when I dose and lots ALA throughout the day)

25+ grams creatine day
10 grams glut

* This is my 1st steroid cycle ever, so I am probably more sensitive to this stuff than most the guys out there just trying it*

day 4 - vascularity and hardness

I did back and bis on day 5, the pump was almost PAINFUL.

My training and nutrition logs are very detailed. Expect a very big report at the end of week 4 (w/ pics and tons of info).

Stats:

Age: 21
Weight: 160
Bf: 10%

I am up 2lbs. I am holding NO WATER WEIGHT. I swear I've lost a percentage of BF also, may just be from looking so HARD all the time.

My goal is to get a consistent 50-20-30 ratio. On a 3,000 cal day -- that would be 375g carbs, 85 g fat, 225 g protein.

I am learning my nutrition mistakes as I go. I'm hitting 200 grams of protein everyday for week 2.

As far as strength gains, nothing major yet. Strength will kick in beginning of week 3 (from what I've read about var).

All I can say about my pumps are WOW.

Training is geared toward explosive speed (sprints). Lots of core. I will write about my training at a later time.

Thanks dawg...I will keep you posted as soon as I feel it kick in. Hey, by the way what kind of creatine you guys using? I want to use something that doesn't bloat me. I was using Metabolic Nutrition's CGP- but heard some bad feedback on it...I bought some Swole just to hold me over till I figure out what I should get.

***I still have a question about the damn grapefruit that hasn't got answered- can you eat a grapefruit instead of drinking the grapefruit juice and still get the same result's? Thanks bro's- happy var training!

Creatine I'm using...

Syntrax Swole - Jungle Juice (twice day)

Optimum Nutrition CGT (Creatine Glut Taurine) - It comes in Lemon, Wild Berry, and Unflavored.

My favorite thing right now is mxing:

Prolab Nlarge Wildberry + CGT Wildberry.

I have about 20 pre-made plastic bags full of 3 scoops Nlarge (.75 serving size) and 3 teaspoons CGT (1.5 serving size). I find this to be the perfect post-workout supplement mix:

450+ cal
40 protein (all whey)
65 carbs (mainly from maltodextrin)
- about 20 sugars being only 3 scoops
Creatine 7.5 grams
glutamine 6 grams (coming from CGT, not counting glutamine in Nlarge also)

I mix it in 16 oz of water in a shaker cup.

I also use plain creatine powder.

** This is just speculation by myself, but if you are taking OX, you might not bloat no matter what creatine you take. I usually get bloated on 10grams creatine a day. I am intaking at least 25 grams daily now, and I have no bloat whatsoever. This may just be me. I have nothing to back this up... only what I have experienced so far **

I'm not a big fan of carbs or eating in the morning......but many guys on the boards preach about grapefruit juice in conjuction with Anavar so I decided to drink 3 ounces this morning along with 20mgs of Anavar as Ulter posted over at AF, hopefully I will benefit from it. I will be taking 3 ounces 4 times a day with my Anavar........DAMN CARBS! :D

I was planning on doing something detailed, but it wont be THIS detailed.

I am 6'2" 205.. I will run 40mg var daily.. 20g creatine.. 300g protein.. 6000+ cals.

Just finished day 3 guys and I hit 80mg today...with grapefruit juice. I have been feeling hard and have a constant forearm pump...I'm getting lean but that's because of my strict deit and cardio regimine for the past month and a half. I've got viens running down both arms and across the chest. after I popped the last 20mg at 10pm tonight I've been feeling totaly pumped...it's kicking in. I am taking 20-30g of creatine as well, glutamine, along with r-ala, yohimburn, eca/nyc, liquidex- this is my mild attempt to drop bf to 7% and hold on to lean mass. Tommorrow I will wiegh myself to get a somewhat starting point. Wish me luck guys I got to drop 3% bf in 8 weeks.

drveejay- how are you taking them? split up 3 times/ED with grapfruit juice. I take 20mg in the morning 40mg before workout (afternoon) and 20 around 10:00p.m.

WannaImpress- my diet looks like this:
1. 3 whole eggs, 3 egg whites, a whole crown of brocoli about a cup steamed topped with a slice of fat free cheese topped with 2 tsp of Udo's perfect oil blend. Pro/fat meal

2. Same^ or 1/2tub of 2% cottage cheese, a scoop of Protein Powder, a little bit of fiber 1 cereal just for crunch, 2 tsp of Udo's.

3. Postworkout- 80g of Dextrose, 40g Protein - I think I will up the Protein to 60g and mabey up the Carbs to 100g.

4. 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/4cup fiber 1, raisens, scoop Protein Powder, 1/2 container of cottage cheese, Peach.

5. Steak, brocoli, cheese, 2 tsp Udo's


6. same as 1, 2, or 5

7. 60 g Protein shake - casein with 2 tsp Udo's

wake up at night, or early morning another Protein shake -casein with Udo's.

Cardio on off days 45min Treadmill incline 15% walk at 3.5mph. On training days 15min post workout Treadmill incline or swim.

question...I know someone who can get 5mg tabs for $2 each. I thought this was a good price because I was told $3 a pill was the going rate. But is that the going rate for the generic 40 mg per tab, 2.5 mg per tab, or 5mg per tab? Also, do i need to take 8 5mg tabs a day to get the same effect as the generic? that would cost me a shitload of money. Obviously i'm new to this stuff.

What is your reasoning for taking Liquidex?? If the only think you're taking is Ox, there's no need for liquidex (as far as I know) the only reason I could see is that you are maybe thinking it will keep your estrogen levels down to help with fat loss?? Let us know, thanks

Anavar has been medically documented to cause natural occurring HGH spikes during its use, and has also been documented to aid in the utilization of test by 18% or better.
The liquidex may actually help the anavar do its job much better, but I am not sure exactly how...??

I found that the more I ate the better it worked, this means eating clean, but still havinga cheat day.

I plan on starting in about 2 weeks. I'm waiting on all your guy's results to see how much a day I want to take (40mg, 60mg or 80mg).
 
whats up G-dog? I have been eating a ton more Protein lately trying to get around 60g p/meal. Ever since doing this and only eating carbs after working out I have noticed a very dramatic change in my body compostion. I also feel great all the time not energy less like in the past while cutting out the carbs- because then I was also eating low fat, so all I was eating was protein feeling like shit. Now I have tons of energy from all the healthy fats. I'm not holding any water like I do when I eat carbs and I'm not restricting cals I'm eating over maintenance putting on weight but getting leaner. I can't wait to see how the Anavar contributes to this regimine. My goal is to stay at 200lbs and drop down to 7%bf from 10%- I don't know how realistic that is but its my mission for the next 8 wks.

Lucky- I just use about 1/3 of a cup it's a little more than 3 oz.

*Update:
I have been experiencing bloat like holding water. My viens have somewhat dissapeared and I feel like I'm getting smooth. The only thing that I can think may be causing this is the switch in creatine to SWOLE- but I thought this shit was not supposed to make you hold water? Another thing I have changed is upping my protein intake which has been filling me up a little more at meals- But carbs are still low. I ran out of R- ALA, but I didn't feel like that was doing all that much- but shit maybe it was cause that's about the time this started to happen. I'm glad I have some more on the way. I also am experiencing tightness in my lower back. It's wierd cause I was getting leaner and leaner everyday...but now I feel like the roles have switched and I'm gettin fatter and fatter - what the hell?

Pject - update your results bro...are you getting any bloat from that creatine?

I just got my vars in today. I will start it today along with the same brand prop. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be able to see results. I will keep you guys updated. Anyone using theses should post their results. Even if they aren't making proggress. I heard s shit load of people are on these vars but no one is posting results about them.

meth- not yet- I'm still bloated...I'm going to stop that SWOLE creatine and see if that's it. Lack of r-ALA- I don't know- I didn't notice anything diferent while taking it- nothing out of the ordinary. All I know is that I was getting LEAN- Abs coming in - Veins in forearms chest and shoulders, but when I started the Vars I also changed the creatine to SWOLE cause I ran out of the other shit (which I'm going to go pick up today) and I ran out of the R-ALA. I have been doing 45min of cardio 3-4 sometimes 5 times a week- diets in check so I'm stumped. I don't think Var is supposed to bloat you or cause water retention. I'm a little suspicious right now but I really trust the bro that hooked me up with them...he's a good guy and I don't think he would be out to fuck anybody over. But I will keep you all posted- today's day 8 - 80mg/ED taken with 3-4 oz grapefruit juice. I would like to see those Lab results I've heard were taken.

I am surprised to hear all you guys not getting any results.

I have been getting amazing results. Starting week 3 now. Up 5lbs... down to 8% BF. Strength up. Pumps like crazy. I am at work right now. I have to go.

Expect a big post tomorrow... I have pics also, but no where to host them.. maybe some of you guys can help me out with that.

my tabs are TINY and light baby blue.. even with a little green in them maybe... VERY similar to the clomid's color.. (clomid was a little darker)

Okay fellas my .02 cents.

I eat clean 12 months a year, and am no novice.

6'3, 240lb, fairly lean, 42 yrs

taking 60 mg of var ( light blue generic)
no creatine
no ALA
400mg of cyp/wk (This is barely maintenance for my old ass)
300mg of Dura/wk

Pumps so hard i can't curl my arm up fully.
BF Down/ and hard as i get.

I believe the var i have is working fine.

I have 2 friends on right now @ 40mg/day, both a new to cycling...they have gotten ZERO gains in the last 2-3 weeks. Beginning to feel suspicious, especially since mine seem to be a different color than some of yours. Not aqua blue, not lite blue, mine are a light speckled green, much like his clomid, but much more on the green side (as opposed to his clomid which are a light speckled blue). Maybe he just sent me the wrong stuff (Unlikely though), but it seems a lot of bros are having issues with this...and the man is not around to answer our questions. I can tell you one thing...this is the WRONG time for the man to take a vacation...

Yeah they look so similar.. but mine may look a TINY shade lighter.. but it may just be the pictures.

Honestly....mine have more of a blue/green(aqua) tint to them and you look closely they have speckles on them

You can definately see a diference in your before and after pics- what else did you change in diet/cardio- besides just adding Var. It was a var only cycle right?
