40mg var experience - WEEK 1

on day 10 now.

40mg ED for 8 weeks -- var only cycle

(1 pill taken each morning with about 16 oz grapefruit juice)
(also taking Tylers D when I dose and lots ALA throughout the day)

25+ grams creatine day
10 grams glut

* This is my 1st steroid cycle ever, so I am probably more sensitive to this stuff than most the guys out there just trying it*

day 4 - vascularity and hardness

I did back and bis on day 5, the pump was almost PAINFUL.

My training and nutrition logs are very detailed. Expect a very big report at the end of week 4 (w/ pics and tons of info).

Weight: 160
Bf: 10%

I am up 2lbs. I am holding NO WATER WEIGHT. I swear I've lost a percentage of BF also, may just be from looking so HARD all the time.

My goal is to get a consistent 50-20-30 ratio. On a 3,000 cal day -- that would be 375g carbs, 85 g fat, 225 g protein.

I am learning my nutrition mistakes as I go. I'm hitting 200 grams of protein everyday for week 2.

As far as strength gains, nothing major yet. Strength will kick in beginning of week 3 (from what I've read about var).

All I can say about my pumps are WOW.

Training is geared toward explosive speed (sprints). Lots of core. I will write about my training at a later time.

sweet bro, keep us posted - I'm on day 2...poppin 60mgED stacked with creatine. I can't wait to feel those pumps again.

Thanks dawg...I will keep you posted as soon as I feel it kick in. Hey, by the way what kind of creatine you guys using? I want to use something that doesn't bloat me. I was using Metabolic Nutrition's CGP- but heard some bad feedback on it...I bought some Swole just to hold me over till I figure out what I should get.

***I still have a question about the damn grapefruit that hasn't got answered- can you eat a grapefruit instead of drinking the grapefruit juice and still get the same result's? Thanks bro's- happy var training!

Creatine I'm using...

Syntrax Swole - Jungle Juice (twice day)

Optimum Nutrition CGT (Creatine Glut Taurine) - It comes in Lemon, Wild Berry, and Unflavored.

My favorite thing right now is mxing:

Prolab Nlarge Wildberry + CGT Wildberry.

I have about 20 pre-made plastic bags full of 3 scoops Nlarge (.75 serving size) and 3 teaspoons CGT (1.5 serving size). I find this to be the perfect post-workout supplement mix:

450+ cal
40 protein (all whey)
65 carbs (mainly from maltodextrin)
- about 20 sugars being only 3 scoops
Creatine 7.5 grams
glutamine 6 grams (coming from CGT, not counting glutamine in Nlarge also)

I mix it in 16 oz of water in a shaker cup.

I also use plain creatine powder.

** This is just speculation by myself, but if you are taking OX, you might not bloat no matter what creatine you take. I usually get bloated on 10grams creatine a day. I am intaking at least 25 grams daily now, and I have no bloat whatsoever. This may just be me. I have nothing to back this up... only what I have experienced so far **
