the best NFL lineman can only do 25-35X... Larry Allen has the record of 41X and he wasn't even locking out when they do the competition at the pro bowl Ask Ryan: The Strongest NFL Player & More - AskMen <<< old article but tells you what those beasts are capable of. of course nfl guys aren't pure weightlifters, they are football players and strength doesn't beat technique.

so if you are serious that you can go 40 or 45 that is amazing and you should youtube that and put it on here for all to mire.

as for me the most I did was when i was on my tren/var cycle and i nailed 18 all with good form. my max was 355.. not bad for a 185 pounder

Yes real good indeed my best is 29-30 reps 225 and 425 one time max at 210 LBS...I'm at 405 now at 200 pounds.

I have a freind who is my age that hit it 18 times. And got the record for 185 at his age. but are 1 rep maxes are the same :o

For Flat Bench I can Hit it 39 times. On decline I got it up to 64 reps.

So taking into consideration the +5 rule I can only do 34 reps on flat bench and 59 on decline for those who dont believe me......but then again for those who dont believe me wouldnt know anything about being able to rep out 225 22 times in high school at the age of 17. ( I have never seen the bottom side of 200 on the scale in over a decade and a half though)

LOL....That's why they call you the Texas Monster my friend.

It's been a while since I've done 225 for max reps. I usually just do 8-10 as I'm warming up. So I have no clue what my rep max is on it. The most recent rep max I did was 315 for 19 and I needed help on 20 so I don't count it. I don't usually go beyond 12 reps on bench though as it beats the hell out of my shoulders.

If i warmed up and went for max reps I can hit about 18-20 reps of 225. I'm 22 years old, 192 pounds, no supplements except preworkout. 225 rep out - YouTube Video of one of my 225 sets

You need to get a wider grip. Your arms are too long to grip that close. I'd go at least pinky on the ring if not ring or middle. Slowly work it out and you will be able to lift more in the long run.

I have never done it for max reps. But I've done a couple sets of 20 in a row, so I know its over 20
