Bodyweight & Progress
Photos from
Friday morning were at 115.4kg, and now I’m sitting at
113.9kg as of this morning. The body is absolutely flying right now, dropping consistently, and I’m hitting new lows almost every day. At this rate, I honestly expect to see around
110kg (or maybe even a touch lower) prior to carb-up, especially because I flatten out hard during depletion. Really curious to see what that look is like next week!
Plan Adjustments
No major changes this week, just a couple of additions:
- Halotestin: 10mg daily
- Nolvadex: 10mg daily
- Nutrition: 4 low days this week to really harden up and get the last bit of fat off. We may run a high day towards the end of the week if needed to slow the drop and avoid flattening out too much — once I flatten, it takes multiple continuous high days to fill back out.
Training Reflections
This is the first week I’ve noticed a
big drop in training drive and strength. The deficit is definitely hitting now. We’re not chasing new PBs at this stage, so it’s all about maintaining performance and execution — which is still solid.
- Strength: Holding relatively well, but mentally it’s all discipline now.
- Joints: No pain or tightness, everything is moving well. Some extra cracking/popping in elbows during posing and pressing (my elbows have never been great), but with proper warm-ups and feeder sets, zero actual issues.
Appetite & Hunger
Through the roof this week.
Retatrutide isn’t really touching the sides anymore, which is expected at this stage. The difference from last prep is huge though — I remember feeling like this at 10 weeks out last time, and now it’s only 2 weeks out and I’m leaner, harder, and much further ahead.
Condition Thoughts
I’m confident the look will be massively improved from last time. I don’t think I’ll be absolutely peeled for this first show, but I will be in
very good condition and a clear step up from before.
Health & Recovery
Got
bloodwork done this morning to check markers, especially liver health with Halo now in the mix (last labs in May had some concerns). Expecting them to look a little rough being so close to show, but hoping what we’ve put in place since then has helped limit the damage.
- Cardiovascular health feels amazing — least puffed out and fittest I’ve felt in years.
- Sleep: Still waking multiple times overnight to piss, so naps are on the cards. Interestingly, I took my CPAP mask off this morning and had zero issues napping without it.
Mindset
Despite the hunger and fatigue, I feel calm, focused, and honestly grateful to be doing this. All in all, feeling great! Feeling grateful to do what I get to do, living the life of my dreams and executing to a high standard every single day with prep and work and maintaining such a healthy happy relationship has made all the difference in the world to my mental state. I am calm, not stressed and feeling good every day I wake up (albeit hungry and tired but that's all part of the fun).
TIME TO CLOSE OFF THIS LAST BIT OF FAT LOSS AND GET ONSTAGE FOR FIRST SHOW IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!
