The 80's rocked and I had it made.

I had my Hockey Hair, Turbo Trans AM and Ratt,Motley Crue,VH, Twisted Sister, Whitesnake blaring out my stereo. Snif good times, good times

Hair? We're gonna need photographic proof of this.

Saturday I had to mix sound for a band that included two former members of Cinderella, the guitarist and bassist. The singer appeared to be a hagged-out ex-stripper. They weren't as cheesy as I was expecting, and the Cinderella dudes were really nice guys.

Movies I liked in 1984: Repo Man, This Is Spinal Tap, Zelig, Broadway Danny Rose, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Star Trek III.

Movies I hated in 1984: Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Liquid Sky, Red Dawn. Three of the worst movies I've ever seen.

of the David Lee Roth era VH albums, I think 1984 is one of the weakest. Although it's still better than all of the Sammy Haggar era albums combined.

The story line had some promise, but the direction, acting, and cinematography were dreadful, bottom-of-the-barrel, amazingly bad. It was like watching a bad made-for-TV movie on the big screen.
