16 Yr old First Work Out Progress Tracker

Well, I just got done with my first workout, id like to use this as kind of an online journal of progress... Am I allowed to do that? Well, anyway, After the workout (i did curls, these reverse curls with a dumbells, well, idk what they are called, my brother didnt tell me, and a some forearm workouts with lifting up dumbells and twisting my wrists) as for help, ill have a ton bc my brother played football and baseball for our highschool (hes a year older than me) and yeah, im sad to say, hes on roids lol... but w/e i wanna get as big as him... But I dont want to do steroids, nor do I think I need them yet at all, but w.e

Well, new pics after first workout. Btw, i know i have love handles, and idk what pics ur supposed to post to show urself so i have a few..

Another thing, is critique and advice on what i should work and bulking or if id look good if I cut etc. Also, I was reading about Clenbuteral for dropping fat like it was a slab of butter and Natural Test Boosters, Should I Consider that or am i too young?

Current Stats on Jan 9th - 5'10 178 lbs im guessing mb 13% BF from some chart i saw on the net.

Dude if you are 16 yrs old, you have a killer base to start building on. There are so many skinny guys who haven't hit their growth spurt yet and you look like you are well-proportioned. Excellent base!

My first comment is DO NOT EVEN BOTHER looking at first, illegal chemicals, second, any sort of drugs to "enhance" anything -- you haven't even hit your full natural test production yet. You don't need that other shit. It also tends to create the expectation that you can get results from pills instead of solid diet & training.

The best thing you can ever learn is that PROTEIN IS THE BEST ANABOLIC! Eat clean, every 2-3 hrs, make sure you get good quality fats & carbs and lift like a mofo. Make sure your form is tight and dont' get caught up in 'look how much i can lift" -- a 300 lb sloppy squat will do nothign but destroy your back. And the intelligent lifters in the gym can pick out someone showing off w/ bullshit form in a second. Then they just sit back and wait until you pull something and stop showing up to the gym, stay home, develop a beer gut and talk about how great they used to be. LMAO, at your age, you'd just be getting ready for college if you went that route!

But I digress....

You really have a fantastic base!. Don't sweat the "love handles" so much -- you are probably still carrying a bit of "baby fat". If you go into football and stuff like that, the aerobic aspects of that will keep you lean.

You might want to see if you can find anyone who does powerlifting -- there are some great techniques for building your core strength (squats, presses, deads) that will make you sick strong and guarantee that you have tight & excellent form.

^ Great to get some good advice and feedback :), Well, my activities are kind of, unorthidox, I Cheer in the Fall/Winter (yeah, im a male cheerleader) and during spring I play Baseball, but other than that, its right here in front of the pc for 6 hours or more a day (besides school) But im really actually going to do something to change it now, Ive been OBSESSED with BBing, muscles in general, etc. since I was about 11, but I never really thought I needed to work out, I mean people would ask me in my grade if I took steroids lol (i moved to a new school last past year) so i figured i was doing something right, but just recently I come and actually look up pics of some teen BBers, and MY GOD i didnt know you could get that insanely fit at such young ages, and to be honest, I want in on that lol, its a dream to me ! :) That and my brother Is getting disgustingly big, he throws me around so, lol I gotta try to catch up... Also, lol just a funny side note/question, my theory is, my right arm is so much bigger and peaks a lot more because i always flex that one, could this be true? or does flexing do nothing for size, i mean, i Flex till it feels like its tearing, and usually if i do it hard enough the next day my arm is sore, ive done it with my tri's too, is this just placebo or does it actually make a difference? lol bc if so im gonna start flexin my left all the time to catch it up quicker
 
My left bicep has a much more defined peak than my right and is probably a 1/2" bigger so it is possible. I think everyone has one side more developed than the other.
 
great base bro, but two questions, what kind of people do u go to school with who ask u if ur on steroids, and more importnatly why is ur 17 year old bro on them....... he wants more acne or something?

Well, idk why people think im on steroids, im like, wow, if you guys knew how big guys on roids are.. lol, but i think they use it as an excuse for being smaller than me, i just laugh and take it as a comment, and my brother actually doesnt have much acne suprisingly, but i think thats because when he was younger he was on that really strong acne stuff acutan or somethin, and he still takes it..
 
Great base (and vocabulary) for a 16 y/o. Good Luck. Eat big, Train hard, and rest. The gains will pour in at your age!

it's sad to hear that you have a 17 year old brother on AS...

please do not follow in his footsteps... you will make huge gains without them... at such a young age, you are ripe for growth...

Well, I've been set up with a 3 day routine split with Bi's Back, Legs, Chest tri's with abs on all 3 days, and its about a week into it, and im SO SORE everywhere... My god.. Plus to this situation though, i went into my local VitaWorld, god 15 lbs of Whey for 30$, im so pumped i saved a ton of money on it.. They have a buy 1 get 1 special today and i bought it all and there was an oddball one left they gave me half off, so if you live near a vita world hit it up :)

Edit: Abs are every time i work out, but i work out every other day, if it were up to me id work out everyday, but if that were the case i shouldnt work my abs, however in my opinion my abs are already too big and i dont want to work them at all really, maybe once a week, but this guys got me on a diff split.

Just a thought on the abs - is this 3 days straight and then a day off, repeat or 3 days / week? Then going into the abs thing - abs are a muscle group just like shoulders, back, legs, whatever. You want to give them a chance to recover as well. The whole thing about doing a crapload of ab work to get your 6-pack to show is a little skewed - its more diet than ab work. Too much ab work just makes you look thick in the middle.
 
you're doing entirely too much...

you will soon find yourself overtrained, and making zero gains...
 
boy things have changed since when i was 16 or 17. noone even thought of doing steroids then. noone knew anything about hem.now kids talk about doing them like its nothing.

anyhow great build. good looking kid. hope you choose to stay natural for many years. you are too young to understand the importance of good blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

You have a great build naturally, and you are really going to be filling out because of the change in hormones over the next few years, too. You don't need steroids, just smart training and a good clean diet. You are going to look great!
 
Bro I really think you need more work on your back...leave your bicepts alone for a bit..looks more then the rest. Im not sure about your skill level but if you get a personal trainer and work on dead lifts you will slap on meat. I mean with your paportions youd add alot more so then someone with weak hand grips and chicken legs that cant even hold or balance the bar..so with your body, check it out. Look for a bodybuilding personal trainer that can really get you going..if your smart you will go with all your diet and workouts written so he can adjust them and go over form.
