    Great to see you back, I hope things have eased up a bit for you. I am having a rough time now too, my husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (dilated cardiomyopathy) in September. They say it was from a virus. He will be getting an implanted defibrillator, and will have cardiac ablation, where they burn off a piece of the heart to stop recurring tachycardia (erratic heartbeart). We've gone to hospital twice now because his resting heart rate was at 160 and wouldn't go down, they had to defibrillate him each time- it was kind of scary to watch. I can't bear to read the mortality statistics. I have to kind of live in denial a bit right now, just to stay sane. So I am kinda stressed/

    Thnx! I'll check that book out, an interesting read for a nice unintrupted day. Do you remeber when you first PM'ed me a while back. Well you mentioned the idea/concept of reincarnation and sparked my interest ever since. Been reading on and off about it, and your reply in that thread got me thinking about it agian. haha, sorry for going off on the quetion after question marathon. None of the stuff i read was clear enough for me to be able to grasp the consept fully, so pretty much variations of the questions i asked usually pop up when reading. I'd still love to hear your reply though if you don't mind! If not at the thread, i cleared my PM box so it'll reach me.

    Life has been good, but it can always be better lol My dad passed (55 years of smoking, it had to catch up sooner or later) and now I am trying to help my mom before my deadbeat brother runs off with the money. Fate likes sending me curveballs to keep me on my tip-toes lol I've been trying to be active here but something always comes up.

    oh of course the japanese are at fault...they totally did that on purpose because they realized what a small fast ship like that could do. My problem is that Mr. Watson is not a cool customer. I'm not saying that they should have expected that the jips would take a shot at that much smaller vessel for which they could easily have killed people.....but you're in the southern arctic, you don't play close to the margins. You refuel that fucking boat it's your organizations most prized possession. You don't leave it stranded out in the arctic even if you are close by. Shit really does happen out there in the middle of nowhere and it's not like you can swim off that boat. That crew just traveled a week through the most hostile latitudes on the planet in a powerboat....he should have had a crew for getting the boat there and then transfer them out for a fresh crew that came up on the Steve Irwin. The guys just don't think clearly. And it seems to be all of them....take that bald dude sticking the end of that torch into the grinder while it was on. I'm still miffed at that one I have no idea what he was going for...it wasn't explained thoroughly on the show, probably because there is no explanation.

    i think satanism is primarily a joke and magick is not a practice to be taken lightly. the problem is that the majority out there has virtually no spiritual education, and therefore no ground to stand on when they start fucking around. as for the organization, ive never heard of it.. i dont pay much attention to the common "agenda."

I think you would like Mircea Eliade, I'm familiar with his excellent book the Sacred and the Profane, which discusses the role, and evolution of spiritual ritual, and religion. However, his analysis.... of the esoteric, west and east, IMO, is unparalleled. Academically, he is unmatched. I've read 4 of his books, not this one, however... his scholarship on Shamanism spans over 20 years.

    2 people directly come to mind, One in the Philippines who 'cleaned' up a relatives house. He wouldn't even waste his time trying to understand me. He didnt' speak english. You are right, this period of 'historical time' why would anyone waste their time? Tibet was right in keeping their country technologically un corrupted. The second was a taoist/taichi guru from NYC, I didn't meet him, just read an article based on him. He said the exact same thing. The merited ones who have worked and earned the 'teachings' are more concerned with living in harmony, and staying away from trouble, and well living to be 200+ years old, than passing on to students.
    Spiritual teachers have special needs, and in this day and age, since they have transcended common sense, not sure it would make sense to take on students.

As to the too complicated stuff at Kraigs book and other egyptian things - I have never been a fan of things that are way on top ceremonial. I had a guy that I knew from OTO (from back home) and even he agreed that most of the time its the simplest things that are the most powerful....he said that his friend went to woman for I forgot what purpose. She went in the woods, took off her clothes, raised her hands and called - it came.

    yeah I became tired of books with too much theory and history....its like, c'mon, ok..show me HOW to do stuff, tell me about peoples experiences or yours etc. Same thing with the witchcraft books. I read the reviews on Amazon and if they say its advanced, then I buy. I dont know what to do with all 101 books that I have.

    Did I ever tell you that I got attuned to Reiki 2 years ago? I am at level II now, not sure if I want to go for a Master. My teacher is not feeling really good lately and I am very iffy about going to someone else for a Master/Teacher attunement.

    My patron finally came to me (not that I was trying to get one).....it was Hekate. Now I ordered some books on her history and ways to honor and worship.

    Oh girl, I didnt take a break because I wanted it...lol...I started an online home based business and I got sucked into it without leaving me time for anything else. BUT, I wished for it to take off, so I guess I got what I wished for...lol

    You know, I think what you told me years ago about not searching a coven is the smartest thing ever, for me at least. I do miss having someone that I can tell my experiences and they can help me out, but I can work on my craft in my own pace....I guess everything has its cons and pros

    I have taken a serous 2 year brake from my studies and practices. The last few months I have been getting back on track. Like riding a bicycle, once you learn it doesnt take long to start doing it again :-)

    I ran into my second grade teacher not too long ago, and she said she remembered me as "sturdy" LMAO that was funny.
    I was always tall too, but I pretty much liked playing games and whatnot. Except dodgeball. Terrified of getting that thing in the face. I was crazy for horseback riding from 10-14- took lessons every weekend.
    I was a complete nerd though, a real keener A+ student. So we could have been friends! lolololol

    You want to see a tripping tarot? Look up "Deviant Moon," even creeps out my HP (which is why I had to go and get it, but I have a dark goddess patron).

    Definitely shoot me that email, there are things you can do that can speed up the process of clearing garbage out of chakras. Mentally working on it is one thing, but remember that energy moves toward intent, so actually envisioning them cleansed and refilled with intensified light does make the process easier (the negative feelings attached to the problem chakras are easier to let go of without needing to be so conscious about the behavior, if that makes sense).

    Well, I am working on them by being conscious of the fears, by accepting and letting go...I dont want my emotions to turn into disease....yeah, I'm looking at them from a healers point of view :-)

    lol...they can get their point across, huh? lol It was weird to me last summer....I saw hawks 3 times - 1st I saw one in the sky, then I saw two and then I saw three of them and never again did I come across one after that. I researched and wrote it down, but I have forgotten now :-(
