East End Barbell = 2 hour drive + 7 hour workout ( only 1 working set lol) +2 hour drive home= 11 hour day
but i wouldnt change it for the world..we have a great crew..
you coming down on sat. pete?
Inzer is kinda hit or miss these days since they fired the whole staff except for one person..
we have had quite a few shirts blow out with minimal weights
but when you do get one that is made right-yep its a keeper
Metal and power pants arent even in the same league
if you are looking at the metal briefs compare them to the Inzer predators
I use metal and can only say that i love them..it matters on your squat style the Metals are really only made for wide stance squatting..its hard to keep your legs...
work on your transition and flare your elbows quicker
you dont want the bar over your head i dont know anyone who is strong in that postion but the bar does move towards the face (just remember to catch it) once you come off the bottom
lockout is prolly somewhere around the throat..think of a...
Joe I have a Metal Viking Pro squatter i am looking to sell
its a size 52 i used it in 1 meet and a few training sessions
never altered but im sure if you had some velcro straps added you would be able to play with it for your DL..
lemme know if your interested
the old style blast shirts arent worth anything
i wouldnt even bother using it at all since the groove on that shirt isnt even close to todays modern style open back shirts
if you dont have any powewrlifters in your area who know what they are dong the best thing you can do for yourself is get...
I made a huge mistake of gaining weight and following the principle of "dont deadlift to get a big deadlift" granted i did speed work with 315 but thats a toy weight then when i finall went to pull i was all fucked up my form and leverages were completely off-im stil trying to fix that up right...
Ive got Chris Masons Big Bench Belt
it does make a difference -not cheap
but i also know a good buddy of mine who tried it didnt like it and uses this belt...
All gear is like anything else you may get 10 lbs outof a belt someone else may get 30-50
same thing with a shirt some may only get less than 75lbs out of a double ply shirt yet others may get 150-200+
i dont think thats necessarily true either (what i highlighted)
i think its more that the stronger guys want to lift extreme weights (meaning they wanna put the gear on and push limits)
I appreciate strength which is why i went to the NERB..Im im pressed by a 700lb shirted bench te same as i am...
youre in NY arent you?
why dont you do this there is a push/pull meet in July at Ultimate fitness in Riverhead
you can compete in the AAPF which is drug tested..also if its your choice you can wear as many ply gear as you want OR you can lift raw..
Lift raw i guarantee you no one will laugh at...
hhahhaha how true is that..gotta love the "raw" guys who are afraid to get under the weight with equipment but yet are very quick to say i bench 5 raw so that means i can do 8 in a shirt yet theyve never eventried it..
I went to the Nerb this past weekend..all raw lifting although not drug...
agree if you do the same exercise week in and week out youll stop making progress...
conjugate training allows you to max almsot every week due to the switching of exercises
personally i think a very good builder for the bench press is reg and close grip pause presses
