I agree with Dayna. It is the devil. Get her off of it. The sooner she is off, the sooner she will go back to the way she was. I was on it about 3 years ago and I am still not back to where I was before hand. And I was only on it for 3 shots worth...
Good luck.
What do you do for triceps right now?
I mix up board presses (WSB), close grip bench, and what I call the combo. I learned the combo from Red_Evil and what you do is 10 skull crushers and then go straight into 10 close grip benches with the same bar, no break. Wait a minute and then repeat. Do...
I do the same as JJ, too. We only get up 2 weekday mornings so we "sleep in" 3. It works out. I also set my alarm a little early so we get a snooze in. It also helps that my husband gets up with me and doesn't let me talk myself into being lazy (I tried not to get up this morning...)
i have...
Ummm...I guess we are going to find a way to come...
Gosh, I'm starting to feel sick...I won't be able to work on Friday...I'll go ahead and call my boss now...:)
Spatts, I will do my best to get us out there.
(doesn't seem like I have much of a choice...you kind of called us out..:) )
OK. So i have been taking the Syntrax Caribbean Cooler all this time and now i can't handle the massive sweetness of it anymore. Can someone suggest a good chocolate that is not too sweet? (I assume I don't need to mention few carbs and lots of protein...:) )I have read through this thread and...
Actually..this board got me motivated. My husband was on here a lot and he kept sending me links to read. I finally looked around on the site and saw a lot of females on here and they were doing incredible things. I decided i wanted to be one of them...
In addition to diet (by far the most important) is the cardio. When I wanted to lose weight (and some extra size) I did sprints 2 times a week. Between the diet and sprinting, I could tell a difference REALLY fast.
The first time i did heavy abs I couldn't walk straight or laugh for about 4 days. You might have just trained them MUCH harder than before and they are super-sore. For me, sore abs are much worse than any other sore muscle group...just my thoughts...
I'm going to agree with Hannibal...doing the box squats in the smith machine makes my back hurt thinking about it. Is there no variation of a power rack or squat rack there? You lose so much of your natural range of motion when you try and do a squat there.
Good luck...:)
I have a cyst on my right wrist by the thumb. Doesn't ususally hurt but sometimes it makes the whole hand cramp really bad. Screws my grip totally up when that happens...
Get her to squat with you next time. Encourage her to lift a little more weight than she thinks she can do. I am sure she can DEFINITELY lift at least 40 pounds more than she thinks she can. It is such a good feeling to lift more than you thought you could. Once she does one good set, I bet she...
