    iggs, no loss in energy bro. Your energy goes up. Your body responds to calorie restriction by producing growth hormone. That's why I'm fasting now on the weekends, after I've done my lifting for the week. And the fat melts off you. I've gone from 275-280 to 256 as of yesterday. No loss in strength. I've been doing some 5x5 workouts during these fasts.

    Yes! Pullups and dips and situps would be a sick workout alone! And why dont you talk to him over the phone, if he really wants to get into it he would talk to his parents himself... or wuoldnt they support him?

    Personally I think these are the best bodyweigth exercises: (no order)
    Decline Situp
    Hanging Knee/Leg Raise
    Plank
    Dips
    Pushups/Clap Pushups
    Diamond Pushups
    Dips
    Tricep Dips
    Chins
    Pullups
    Bodyweight Row
    Handstand Pushup
    Hypers
    Wall Squat Hold
    One Legged Calf Raise on step

    You could start him on something basic ie situps and pressups and slowly progress through them and set him targets ie manage 8 chins by next month or whatever

    Are you thinking of telling him to go to the gym and just use the bodyweight work? Or let him do it in his bedroom?

    Maybe crossfit would be good? So bodyweight circuits with some basic lifts... there fuckin brutal bro when I was a n00b back in like may last year I tryed on and used less weight and did only half chinups rather than full pullups and I was nearly sick and just lay on the floor for like 15mins lol
    might compete in an amateur version of UFC...not sure about bodybuilding...it all depends on how busy i will be with life and work bro
    Does he have msn? Or Email? If he does get hold of him and talk to him some people just dont wana be in shape if he doesnt want to from the start its probs never gonna go well but if it does and u get healthy eatin and exercise in to his daily routine at a young age its gonna stick :)

    Try to motivate him show him the results that you had and tell him how much fun it is then build it up, train him over the internet like you would to any bro on EF, like saibot does to me Iv never met him but he's like a personal trainer to me lol, then if u see him twice a year, say every 6 months you will be able to see how he is getting on. Just help him out even if u dont want him lifting at all try to introduce him into sport and shit. All the cals he is taking in will probably mean he find buildin muscle quite easy, yes? That will motivate him if he sees good gains even if he just does bodyweight circuits and shit... idk depends what you want him to do

    Haven't trained in a week and my diet's gone to shit. It fuckin sucks. I'm gonna train mon, tues, and wed next week then I go on vacation so this really killed my progress. At least when I get back it'll be a fresh start. I'll do a couple more weeks of phase 1 then move on to phase 2 (hopefully not getting sick AGAIN lol).

    i put a bag of frozen in, 1-2 glasses of water, some olive oil, and a can of cream of chicken, mushroom, or celery. instead of the cream of...you can just add w/e spices you like. i cook frozen on high for 4hrs or low for 8hrs.
    it's going good....started to see a little gains here and there. i'm starting week 7 and i think i'm going to up my diet some, i had cut back so i wouldn't get all bloated and shit. thanks though
