I remember being in college and finally understanding how the credit system worked. Seemed like only a retard would run up a credit card, money isn't free.
Even though I had plenty of money in my bank account I was rejected when I wanted a CC for lack of credit history. Meanwhile I had irresponsible friends running up their CC and I had no idea how they got one. I also didn't understand when I got out of college how I had friends making not that much money were buying expensive houses. Wasn't until the real state market fell apart that that made sense to me.
