I have used the pen/pen cap method to and trust me it does not always " work every time" so simple as you make it out to be. I also still end up losing the caps some times, still have to open up pen use pen, put pen back together again. I have still had amps snap into peaces using this method too.

Personally i could give a crap less what people use. I am not selling this product nor will I bee. I just got one for myself and I personally like it a hell of a lot more then any other way of I have done it. I only paid 30.00 for mine plus free shipping. For myself I am happy with my little toy.

Why so defensive?

Pens like that can be picked up anywhere so take the inside out and through it just keep the barrel. Insert over the top of the amp and apply pressure - every time well has been for me for the last 18 years anyway.

There are amp breakers, things like you are saying and everyone has a choice this was a simply tip that works well for me and suspect many others so sharing the knowledge. Please do not get so defensive no one is criticizing the product simply an alternative way and then sharing that information

I truly have absolutely no Idea how you could even come up with such a interpretation from what I said . Are you OK man? Do you work for a pen company and this is some weird way of reflecting your defensive feelings onto me?

I think anyone would try and make a case for something they like. If that is what you call defensive well then I am sorry you go through life like that. I hope that gets better for you some day. Its really horrible way to think/live. Always thinking some ones " on the defensive" because they make a case for something they like must really have you in a emotional ball all the time. I would suggest counseling but its your life man do as you wish.

I use the TP method as well.
