Hello my dears, I am back!

Why don't you learn to STFU then?

I am sooooo just kidding.... :) lolz

I didn't think it was posible,but you're even hotter when you're pissed!!

MM.... You would so love it where I live... In the Kootenays In BC.. I bet it is totally your vibe!
Actually my husband is reasonably confident he holds dual citizenship as he is a member of a Canadian Mohawk tribe. Does it rain all the time like Washington state?

Canada isn't completely out of the running ... I've never been there, now you need a passport to cross the border (used to be able to do it with a birth certificate) and the damned things are so freaking expensive :redhot:

If indeed he is a member of a Mohawk Tribe in Canada, then he would hold duel citizenship....

I live in the interior or BC, so not so much rain.. I am right in the Mountians. It does rain, but not like the coast.

Check out Nelson, Rossland, Slocan Valley BC...

Oh yeah, he's a member, card carrying and everything. He'd have an acre of land on the reservation if we went there but I really don't want to go to that part (right outside of Montreal, like I said, I'm a bit over winter).

Thank you for the links :qt: I'll check this out. I thought I wanted to go south but S. Carolina was just ungodly. I do want to get away from winter heating season, I just can't see how we can manage retirement (we have nothing in retirement savings).

Honestly, I think if/when we do move we'll probably avoid getting connected with another pagan group for practice purposes. It's okay to get together once in a while to share sabbats but honestly, pagans are just like any other group, you get them together and you start running into politics and power plays. The group we're in now is better than most, but we've still had our share of BS issues.

I can't afford it, hun, either fiscally or physically. Frankly, my joints don't like the winter so much these days. Were it not for the cold I'd be sorely tempted to move near the coast of Maine.

I guess you could go to Texas then. Cost of Living is cheap and weather is warm/hot.

Oh, and hi, and welcome back! :)

You don't call yourself a shaman, you have to earn the title by your works.

Stop and think a moment, for all the thousands of years humans have been around, successful modern medicine and psychology have been around barely 300 years. The shaman and the medicine man/woman of the tribe was essential to the health and success of the community. Michael Harner started out as an academic anthropologist who focused on the shamans of the remaining indigenous cultures.

If you don't believe in a world beyond the one you live in, that's your perogative, but you shouldn't mock the beliefs or experiences of others.
Relax. It was a joke. If you want to be a Shaman, that's fine. My friend wants to be a Jedi, that's also fine. It's much more interesting then the other options.

:D
