you shouldn't feel too burdened you're really given this little girl a chance to succeed at life, I can't imagine how messed up she could get if she didn't have someone like you to help her out in such a dire time. she'd probably be in the shelter too.
pretty sure that's what any teenage boy would do...or atleast try

she's 18, so they won't give her a room. it's pretty sad.

yikes! that's really shit. I'm sure she's pretty torn up, and I'm sure you're feeling a little burdened aswell. Though she has applied to college hopefully she'll be gone and off to school soon. You really are doing a great thing, I commend you, not that my commendations are worth much.
