Im numb...and weirdly paralyzed..like if I go about a normal day Im somehow being disrepectful.

a friend of 15 yrs died last night...no one knows what happened and Im out of touch with the group so ...my info isn't great..its reliable but fast and dirty because people that are still tight are well...fucking destroyed and not interested in passing along info

Im just unsure what to do..if anything..how to react
and stupidly keep checking FB for updates among various people...
a mutual close friend, the three of us used to be really tight, is also in the dark a bit so we keep checking with each other for updates

so I find this out by a 1 am phone call that I wake up and see missed at 2 am...and you know how you think...this is gonna be really bad this phone call but I hope its something stupid that I can just bitch someone out for but you know its not??

call them and get the news and sit stunned for a cpl of hrs before deciding I should sleep and carry on with my day as usual until I have more info only I slept and my day isn't going as usual..and Im mad at myself for the lack of willpower to just have a normal day

death always leaves me cold...i'm an excellent pall-bearer because i just don't get all emotional over death...i could carry my best friend in and out of church for their funeral, no problem.
