Why does Deca suck?

EF guy: so you are pretty much saying after you ran deca your recovery was horrible. then you say that staying on for pct would result in no issues. so you are pretty much in agreement with me that deca is good for those that cruise or stay on year round but bad for those who cycle off everything right?

so in other words for a young guy deca is a fast way to end up on HRT early in life. why do that to yourself when there are other AAS to choose from?
 
Deca has a purpose. It is just like half the supplements out there, there is a demand and that demand is by the ignorant users. "They" have a friend at the gym that told them. That is why deca is still around. Demand and $.
 
i agree with your first paragraph 100% but the same can be said about every AAS out there, even those that dont aromatize. to think that its possible to keep every pound you 'gain' on a cycle is foolish.

your 2nd paragraph is full of mis-information. deca is no more suppressive than anything else out there WHEN USED CORRECTLY.. i won't get into the specifics but its true. no such thing as being 'anti-inflammatory', that is a major myth. if that was true then it would be a horrible idea to use it. anti-inflammatory drugs should never be touched by lifters EVER EVER EVER. and then lean on deca? huh? deca needs calories to even work!! if you don't eat calories you are wasting your time with it. want to run a calorie deficit? run PRIMO. thats the one to run, not deca.

great drug? maybe, great for guys that cycle? i disagree. a reason why you never hear of vets who cycle use it the stuff. you hear of vets who are cruising or on HRT use it yes, but NOT those who actually cycle off and on. 99% of the time deca is used by newbs who don't know what they are doing.. why? i'm not sure, maybe cause the name DECA sounds hard and hip? no idea. the proof is you see guys run 8 weeks of deca all the time, when its slow builder and won't even reach peak levels till week 5. should be run a minimum of 12-14 weeks. proves internet parroting and 'my friend at the gym told me to run it' is prevalent with this stuff. the ONLY thing i would ever run just 8 weeks that wasn't an oral or wasn't prop based would be tren ace, thats all. every other injectable (for the most part) should be run a minimum of 12 weeks or you are wasting peak levels of it

Ok well its not an anti inflammatory and yes that wouldn't be good to take anti inf the hole time your trying to build muscle. BUT... it does promote collegen synthesis, which makes your joints feel a lot better! When i hurt my shoulder i alway ice it and take aspirin. All the power lifter do, why all the sudden is it bad to take an anti inflammatory for joint issues. Most of the guys are prescribed to mobic celebrex etc. at the gym.

Steve you know just as well as i do that their are good and bad calories to choose from. A guy on a bad diet taking a ton of winstrol is not going to see an ounce of getting lean affects. Yes it will make you hold a little water (nothing outragous if you are eating right) but so does test and i dont see any bodybuilder in there (right) mind NOT using test wile dieting. This is from personal experience Diet + Deca = lean.

Yes there are newbies out there taking your every day gym talk ang going out a buying a btl of deca running it by its self and not posting when done. Now you have your poster boy for all the bad sides from deca. Doing this drug with test and AIs and posting correctly i see no problem Especially if its no more suppressive than any other drug like you said.......

its off subject but you should never ever take anti-inflammatories. the reason the body gets inflamed in the first place is because it is HEALING. when you take an anti-inflammatory you are preventing healing and just coating the problem. big mistake and long term it will lead to more and more problems. pounding away at an injury is a huge mistake and your injury WILL become chronic doing that.

yes a lot of lifters take them, but either they are ignorant of that fact or they just don't care about their future health. one guy that powerlifts at my gym takes ibuprofen before every workout and he is 50. STUPID STUPID STUPID and he is only crippling himself benching 500 pounds the way he does. you WANT inflammation, let the body heal itself and don't get in the way!

if you ever have inflammation that is a signal that you need to rest that body part and allow it to heal, or at the very least reduce the weight or training on it.

also with joint pain that can be helped with krill oil, omega's. most people fail to get enough healthy omega's in their diet, and in fact they eat foods that rob the body of healing properties. lifters need to be focusing on getting more omega's instead of relying on drugs to fix their injuries.

the rest of your post i don't necessarily disagree with at all. i just have a different opinion. also running deca with test is not gonna prevent suppression, it will actualy make it worse as test is very suppressive and aromatizes into estrogen. the old style dbol/test/deca stack that gets bantered around on the internet is an absolute bitch tit and progesterone dream!! considering most newbs fail to run an AI with that stack they usually end up at victoria's secret getting fit for a new bra .. thats why i never recommend that stack to newbs

True thats why i said it wouldn't be smart to take anti's the hole time your lifting, i only take them when the pain gets the 8-10 mark and lay off until its better.

Yeah their will always be opinions so we can let them be, i just hate and don't want newbies to continue to kill the reputation of a drug that works really good - ( on some people ). I mean i hate tren for the side its gives me internally, but thats only in my case, it doesn't do it for the majority of the folks that take it. So i don't go bashing it, i just let people know the possible consequences. If it wasn't for the affects i get from it i would love it.

My recovery was horrible, because I used no PCT whatsoever. I had no idea about the importance of PCT. All my gains disappeared within 1-2 weeks. I felt very exhausted and I virtually sweated all my gained strength out.

I think that testosterone is not much better in this regard, so 95% guys on this forum should be concerned about HRT.

Deca is vilified by primitives, who don't take steroids for sports purposes, but in order to f*ck some woman every night. There is no justification for taking more than 50-100 mg exogenous testosterone/week. This amount will comfortably substitute your endogenous testosterone production. If you take more, you disproportionaly expose your body to testosterone's side effects, which is irrational with regard to the current offer of milder drugs.

Steroids like nandrolone, oxandrolone and methenolone have an excellent ratio between side effects and positive gains. They are not side-free, but how many drugs are?
