I call bullshit. You can't just wander on to the rooftop of a Vegas hotel. for starters, you can't even get past the casino level unless you have a room card to activate the elevator. Not to mention the elevators are guarded by armed security at night.

How did this drunk idiot manage to get to the locked rooftop anyways? They have alarms.

I read he jumped to his death from a 3rd floor balcony at the Flamingo, trying to land in a palm tree. He was definately drinking and probably high according to the article. Here's a google earth map of the Flamingo. There aren't any balconies, so the only thing around palm tree height would be the parking structure.
