Ok,

Picked this up to do a run with, I'm 216 lbs 18% bf (shut up it's the end of winter) i'm 5'9" 51 yrs old.. no cycle since last year

I wanted to keep my diet a little cleaner but not make any changes so that the effects would be noteable for week 1 or not..

The interest is not for fat loss, but for improved cholesterol and specifically increased cardio capability and increased endurance.

100-150g carbs per day mostly from vegetables and some processed carbs but very few
200g protein per day from food, no protein shakes..
5-10g fats

Played volleyball last night, and we took the division, but im usually winded to the point where it takes that extra second to recover before the next point.. after week 1 I find my recovery much quicker, and no feeling of exhaustion after 3 games 26-24, 25-22, and 25-21, so they were pretty heated and close games, all in 45 minutes..

I'm down in weight today 4 lbs and i went out drinking post game last night..

Starting today i'm switching over to the Paleo diet, and IF (intermittent fasting) eating style which I have not done in the past, and since we are all about experimenting and we all know none of us do anything in moderation i figure it should happen..

I know that at 203 I'm at 10% bf normally, this past week i did 2 sessions of moderate cardio and 2 sessions of all over resistance training. .

I intend to continue the GW-501516 5mg am and 5mg pre workout, this 1st week i only ran it 5mg am and 5mg pre workout on workout days..

So there ya go..
 
I'm also adding a heart monitor starting today so that i can more effectively evaluate my heart rate during training, i used to do this all the time, 164 is my max during my heaviest lifting, today during cardio I was at a steady 116 which is 65% effort..
 
great work bro... you know whats so great about your progress?? your really not even dosing at optimal levels for gw and still making that much progress... in actuality, the sweet spot dosage is 20 mg a day, 10 mg splits... the cost effective way is 10 mg a day... i know it can get pricey, but if you are able, at some point, i recommend bumping to 20... keep hittin it hard!
 
thanks, I'm attempting to do the lowest dosage that will bring results, the improved endurance is what most interests me..

oh and the penis growth effects that studies have shown it to have..
 
as promised, i did low intensity cardio on the tread mill with a heart monitor (since i know exactly where i should be) on a treadmill, incline 4, rate of travel 3.4 my heart rate is normally 110 which is where it should be to give me 65% intensity..

Today my hrt was 95 consistently.. even when i did high intensity for the 1st 10 minutes.. then changed to the treadmill.. i was consistently at 95 (not during the high intensity, just the treadmill..)

So thus far i am most impressed with this product..
 
great info here man... the endurance properties that gw contains truly show why they were so worried about endurance athletes using it! =) the impact it has it amazing and it tends to show very quickly... thanks for the updates... keep them comin!
 
Ok, the paleo and IF diet isn't working, for so many years i've been changing over to eat 5x day, so it's been very difficult to drop 2 meals in the am..

The Paleo is going really great.. so i'm sticking with that and putting off experimenting with the IF diet for a later time..

i'm down 6 lbs thus far.. good times..

i dont bro... i started it in my stack that i am running now but realized it would not help me achieve my ultimate goals, which were more in the size department as opposed to dropping weight... i did use it for a few days and the endurance part of it was amazing...
 
C'mon son. I think you're dreamin', homie. Less fat makes the schlong look bigger so get yourself back down to 10% and you look like a monster. Lol

Week #2 and down a total of 8 lbs.. but i did have the all you can eat sushi so my diet isn't perfect this week.. we'll see how it goes the 3rd week..

FireFighter training was a piece of cake, cardio was slowed and easier to breath on air tank..
 
week 3 and the ham feast is over *(Easter) and i'm continuing on the paleo diet with good success, increased fat loss?? not sure, increased cardio capability?? very much improved.. need more research and plan on increasing to 20mg/day after this 1st 30 day evaluation..
 
What type of cardio are u doing? Or is it just the random team sport game here and there?

currently 3x week either low intensity 30-45 minutes, or hiit training..

right now volley ball 3 games per week 1.5 hours.

and fire fighter training, 60lbs in pack for 3-4 hours..
 
thats a fair amount of calorie burning there. given ur workout schedule and extra curricular activities have you increased your intake but are still droppin lbs?

nope.. down a total of 8 lbs and holding, and strength is building, so we'll see, I could hit a 2% bf loss which would be a hell of a thing to do..
 
GW is the sarm that you wre using at the begninning of you triple sarm strack correct dylan?

I'm going to grab a couple bottles and run it. I want to see if it has any negative effects on muscle growth. Judging from what I've seen, it looks like it doesn't.
 
You said strength is increasing. Are you using anything else? Elaborate on your strength increase for us, Bro.

Sure, it's not the gw that is causing the strength increase, i'm just hyper aware if i'm losing strength, so for me when strength training, which i keep doing and mixing in with endurance training is how i measure the effects, if i can't add more reps, or more weight then i'm not doing something right..

I'm about to do 20mg split 10mg am/pm each.. for 30 days

Funny thing is it's been a couple weeks since i took it, had very good cardio in valleyball last night, and today did my normal cardio and my hrt rate was still improved, not as good as while using the GW, but still improved by some 25%..

I think where my real questions lay are in whether or not GW is catabolic. I have no doubts in its ability to create increases in endurance and don't believe that it creates increases in strength. I'm going to test it to see if while using GW, can one lose fat while still increasing strength and size.
 
Began 20mg of GW today.. 10mg am and 10mg preworkout..

I've been doing some significant investigations into this and memory function seems to be on of the most researched....

Will be interesting to see how this month goes..
 
ok.. it's been 1 week at 20mg... i would have expected more fat loss than what i experienced in 10mg day.. but that is not the case..

The up side, my wife is dropping at a rate of 2 lbs a week.. and her cardio with a hrt monitor she was at 171 and could still talk.. that was crazy impressive..

MY workouts are do i dare say "easy".. recovery between sets is very fast, i mean very fast and i've trained high intensity with only 30 second rest periods between sets and that's "easy" now..

wide grip lat pull down 5x 20 14 (whatever that weight is)
close grip pull down 5x20
tri press I tend to super set these front grip and reverse grip
dead lift 5x20 225

and another

incline db press 5x 12-24 85
cross cable 5x 12-24 14
High and level so 10 sets
decline 5x 24 270

every other week i'll put tri in with this one..

I also do static training for 2 weeks to get past sticking, but this is more of a cutting/endurance type training and I'll do 1 warmup set at 50-60% the rest are working sets..

when i'm doing heavy legs, the biggest i've done 1200x8, and that's increasing 90-180 lbs starting at 310 to start on an incline leg press..
 
What i really think is happening is with my heart rate lower and i recover quicker i am able to stress the muscle that much faster and limit recovery time

This coming week I'll be doing strength training..

4-6 reps 5 sets... I'm really looking forward to it.. last set is a static with the goal to hold 10 seconds..

I'm subbed. Read the whole log so far. Good stuff. I ran it for 15 days. Noticeable uptick in cardio and oxygen usage. I might have to run it one more time... but run it longer.
Are you still running it at 20mg ED?
 
yep still running it at 20mg I'm not sold on the 20mg being magical in fat loss but it sure does a body good oxygen wise..

I ran a bottle at 20mg from beginning to end. I definately noticed the cardio increase. I also noticed fat loss in the one week period.

Update..

took 2 weeks off, cardio went right back to before use conditions (which is expected) added it back in this week.. I'm really digging it, but can get the effects with 5mg 2x per day and it is more cost effective..
