Pro body builders and their cycles

Man I was under the impression that these pros got so damn big by using muscle tech products.

Yates admitted to taking 500 mgs of drol a day? He's lucky to be alive. That had to be with a ton of BP meds I'd reckon.

What the pros take is irrelevant. They're pros not because of their cycles but because of their genetics. Larry Scott took 20 mgs of dbol a day for a month before a contest. Who looks like Larry Scott around here? Body & Style - Larry Scott the first Mr.Olympia the biography

Haha, I've read/heard pros use 50-100 grand worth of juice a year. Crazy shit. Its hard to tell which is truth and which is hearsay.

I dnt know how really this cycle is though, those mgs seem way way high.


This cycle for Dorian is False. After being asked about his cycle history forever, he finally said what he did in Oct. 2011 issue of Muscular Development. This is what he used:
1st cycle ever:
weeks 1-4 he would take 20mg of Dbol everyday
weeks 5-8 he would take 15mg of Anavar everyday and 100mg of primobolan weekly

This is what he took in the final 12 weeks leading up to the 1993 Mr.Olympia:
DAILY:
Anavar-50mg
GH-8 iu

WEEKLY:
Test Prop-300mg
Parabolan(Tren)-152mg
Primobolan-500mg

Off-Season Stack:
DAILY:
Dbol-50mg

WEEKLY:
Test(didnt specify which)-750mg
Deca-500mg

This^^^^^ people seem to forget that genetic make up is very important along w/ how someone responds to steroids. Pro's in the 70's all looked like chiseled gods, even if they hadnt cycled they'd look better than 95% of us who juice, way better. Now we have top rate supps, exact doses of aas to follow, shit like insulin, thyroid meds and hgh that can take an avg guy into freak territory but could never compete at a pro level bc of basic dna. I read once that ronnie coleman stayed on 600 mgs of test and eq year rd. How do you prove or disprove that? That seems very tame to shit todays pros do, but how do u prove ronnie otherwise? Is he selectively forgetting to mention the growth, slin and t3? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?

I do agree with the genetics part to a degree. I do think all these pros started very young and gained access good gear, great training and top notch advisement!! You know the weirdest thing to me about the 70's and 80's pros? Their weight!! I don't think to many people realized that Ronnie won mr O at what 290 lbs? Arnold won at 225lbs!!!! Colombo and Zane was even lighter than that! So Arnold at 225 with no pct or AI's at top of his game is still the most sought after physique
 
I saw a very good doc on tv this morning say something interesting.. he said "the more you take drugs, the less effective they become"

that is food for thought.. so before you anyone decides to copy these 'pro cycles' remember that. and then think of the money you will spend having to run bigger and bigger amounts of roids. is it receptors that get flooded? maybe, maybe not.. that is another discussion for another day. but no one can deny that if you start taking 3 grams of roids a week that taking low doses will do as much for you in the future.

so stick to low doses, bust your ass in the gym, eat solid whole foods, eat your veggies, and cycle smart and conservatively off and on.. and in the long term you will be able to use low doses and be very successful.

Samir Bannout was 195 pounds .. mr olympia from 83 or 84. granted he was only 5 7..

Ronnie is a freakin beast, its insane the way these guys look today.. and to be honest i give them props for having that much mass but it isn't beautiful to me from an artistic sense. and i've asked girls i dated who they think had the nicest body and most of them say Eugene Sandow did, the look of today is nasty to them.

Please sir, do not get me wrong in any way. I did not start this thread to get a copy of a pros cycle to try and use or even advertise for anyone to use and nor do I think you think that. My intentions is to discuss the difference btwn opinions as of what's a hardcore cycle to you, me or others. I also like to strike the debate that even tho you can "google" a pros cycle or work out routine who really knows if it's factual?? In short I think it's smart for people willing to learn to try and use forums and discussion boards such as this to gain the knowledge from regular, knowledgable and safe folks like you guys. I've been apart of a lot of other boards and u will get the best advise and knowledge from these places rather than google or the local swole guy at the gym.
