Whizing on Taliban corpses and posting on youtube prob knot fully thought through ...

so you think they are investigating to bestow the participants with commendations and not disciplinary charges?

No they're "investigating" so they don't look bad in the eye of people like you who have a heart for these animals. I honestly believe they don't give a damn about what those marines did. It's all politics. Put on a front so they look good. Yeah what they did was probably morally wrong but morals shouldn't apply to humans who value human life the way those terrorists do. Fuck em

Also they send the marines over there to wipe them out any way possible. BLOW THEIR HEADS OFF, bomb the fuck out of them, but don't piss on them Hurr durr that's bad lol

I don't think that you should become a monster to defeat a monster.

Then again, I don't see why there is THIS much of an outrage.

I don't know if it's "bad".

It's the difference between military commendations and reprimands that could effect them for the rest of their lives.

Even though Marine tactics maybe brutal, Marine conduct is supposed to exemplify honor, respect, and dignity.

You never served in the military have you?

This is for you and Plank.

Again, there are "no rules to war," and there is no such thing as "war etiquette." You have never seen a second of combat. I spent eight months in the Middle East, five months in Bosnia, and three or four months in Somalia.. I am "no" expert, but I have experience in combat, which makes me a primary source.

You have no idea about the indoctrination of Marine Corps Infantry (0311), it is a whole different animal. Like I said, they did it on purpose to fuck with the enemy (psy ops), so the enemy gets rattled. DO YOU UNDERSTAND????? Again, you NEVER respect your enemy, it makes you vulnerable. Our philosophy in the 8th Reg. 1st Batallion 9th Marines was: "you might fight hard, but we fight harder, you might do atrocities, but we will do greater atrocities, you are not sure you can beat us, but we are sure we can beat you, and we will." That psychological edge sounds like a thin line, however, it speaks volumes, and does not matter what manner the job gets done as long as it gets done. The Marines are ready and they know they are going to beat them, and beat them bad, they already have and will continue until every last one of them are wasted.

If it does effect the rest of their lives, then shame on this government, just shame on them! If the government has to be politically correct to appease left-wing lunes, and depict that "good guy" image to fool the world, then I want no part of this country anymore. Of course, I am going to support my brothers and so should you and so should America because they are preserving democracy, so you and I can speak our minds on an internet site.

Victory= honor, Respect= the enemy is terrified of you, KIAs= dignity in the Marines, something you and other non-Marines will never understand. Therefore, explaining the indoctrination of corps is futile unless you have experienced it.

You boys need to start thinking on whole different level. What you men might think is wrong, we might see as clarity, advantageous, and foresight.

I've not commented on what I think is right or wrong, nor is it relevant.

My concern is for those young men.

There may not be "rules of war", but there are "rules of conduct".

Re: Whizing on Taliban corpses and posting on youtube prob knot fully thought through

I don't even know where to begin with this ^^^^^^^^^ (ledheads post)
public psyops in the middle east has pretty much consisted of heavy metal and rock music played ultra blaringly loud (think ac/dc)
and treating women as equals within their own ranks but respecting local custom in regards to gender
and rumor spreading about torture etc etc

however...all bodies of muslims are treated to custom..including being brought to centers where the corpses are washed in accordance with local custom
respected universally?? no, certainly not..but in the public eye???? absolutely..don't believe me? I have a picture at work from the middle east where a building is set up and over its door written in arabic and english it says "muslim bodies" and its set up to wash them and wrap them in muslin...and wait for no more than three days for someone to claim them.

I call bullshit on your post, utterly
there is definitely a "war etiquette" that is followed if even only for the public

Wish I could buy this guy a beer. One of my best friends is a marine and served in Iraq. After some of the stories he's told me I commend every single one of you who give us our freedom. Keep up the good work bro.

Your post makes absolutely no sense at all.. So, when the Marines kill the enemy, they gift wrap them and send them back to the CP. Lol.. So, what you are saying is the US military abides by Muslim traditions and rituals.

You can call bullshit all you want, it will not change my thinking one bit..
