Unfortunately, some people don't see the consequences of their actions or believe that they can handle it (like the drinking and driving issues of the late 80s).The problem is, that we shouldn't have to regulate any of it, but people are stupid in some cases. They outlawed phone talking while driving a couple years ago, then people texted. That pretty much sums up the intelligence level among CA drivers. Then when we outlawed texting last year, now people are probably going to have a cage of carrier pigeons in the back seat, and a note pad in their lap.... They'll get out a pen, write a letter, tuck it in a capsule under a pigeon, then stand out the sun roof to launch the carrier pigeon with the message so all-God-thundering important!

People will always find lots of interesting ways to kill themselves. I think that it's their own belief of importance. Make no mistake, I'm not better; but I don't text and drive. The carrier pigeon has got me thinking though...
