Mixing oil and water in the same vial

I've got a 5ml vial of HCG in a vial that I want to pre-draw into syringes and store in a refriedgerator for a few weeks until needed. Does anybody see a problem with mixing oil in the same syringe and pinning it together?

My NP instructed me to put the HCG and the testosterone cypionate into the same vial and inject all at once. However, I'm separating them out to help keep levels consistent. For instance, HCG on Saturday and test on Wednesday.

if you want to mix them atleast inject IM otherwise this is an abcess waiting to happen. keep in mind they will go in at different speeds so don't rush it.. and the injection will be awkward

i prefer to mix 2 oils .. and hitting IM

your doc should of told you not to go subQ and my personal preference is to do oil and water separate but it will be okay if you do them together.

I think you can combine the two at the time of injection,,,but I would not put them into a vial to draw from together.

Dont do it. You will end up with a bubbly mess.

Anyway, the good thing about HCG injections is that they are so easy. Its next to nothing in a bit of water. Just grab a flap of belly skin, pop the needle through, and press.

Alin: Yeah I'm going to combine them in the syringe, not the vial. I mis-spoke.

Zorrin: I'm not going to shake it up before I pin it, I'm not trying to mix them. Just shoot them together.

Steve: Everything I've read for HCG says it's a deep IM just like everything except HGH and B12. Obviously combining two drugs that require different administrations would be impossible.




All the opinions on this board seem to be split down the middle on mixing oil and water based injectables. I'm not trying to mix it, and I understand different viscosities will give different resitances on the plunger... a lot of this is a no brainer.

I'm going to give it a shot (no pun intended), will post an update.

hcg can be both subQ and IM. dunno who told you it was only IM but i always shoot it subQ
