Increasing Squat Poundages: Swains Methods

To me, the squat is about the hip. . . the knee receives secondary stress unless you are squatting like a bodybuilder.

I think that throwing in an extra quad movment for 2 or 3 sets is reasonable. I like to maintain the size of the quads and keep them strengthened.
