Treadmill vs. bicycle

I know you can't spot reduce one particular body part but I really need to work on my thighs - is using the bicycle better than the treadmill at the gym.:confused:
 
You probably won't get a whole lot of responses here because we're mostly lifting oriented. But I'll try.

Seriously, if you want decent thighs, try to build the muscles... don't just focus on burning the fat there. Before you hit the bike or treadmill, do some squats, presses, etc. Your thighs will solidify themselves.

Simply put, fat has less chance of survival in the presence of muscle:)
 
Yes, take it from him and the many others who will tell you the same. I've learned it now, and luckily too because I'm still young so I didn't make the mistakes they all did. Muscle burns more calories than fat does, thus you lose weight and look trim in the end.

Get more muscle, no doubt.
