Militaries with bands

I've never heard of anyone doing them, so I decided to try them tonight.

I did them seated in a squat rack and man, totally different feel. I think I'm going to start using them on a regular basis, really emphasizes the triceps as you could probably guess.

I've been doing em standing for quite some time...

not continously but here and there :)

ever tried purples one each side in a squat rack standing? killer!

I didn't even think to try them standing. When you do those, do you anchor the bands on the ground, or about knee on the safety bars?

Well yesterday I used a pair of minibands cinched around the safety pin on the lowest setting. adds an extra 30lbs up to for me I think. Bands start to kick in off the bottom.
Just adds that little bit extra up top to make it safe for explosion
I like to hold the lockout for 1 sec during the set, and then 3 secs on the last rep.

nice core workout too :)
