deltoid isolation

upright rows, lateral raises but the military press is king

Front delts I love reverse grip military presses. Sides Arnold presses and a combo of high yates rows with bent over flyes for rear delts.

I've had the best delts success (both definition and size) with lateral raises. I do 6 or 7 sets with 55-lb db's, and an additional few sets with 45-lb db's to the front, and to the rear at the same time; counterbalancing. I have a nice division between front & rear delts, and very decent size for my overall weight. I've never been able to go full-out on military presses... bad back.

my shoulder routine is bradford press , side lat raises , bent over lat raises (chest supported) , bb rows wide grip (chest supported) . all execises are 5 sets 3 ramping sets of 8 reps with 2 sets to failure . ive started doing unilateral side raises with a bar bell as a finisher for 3 sets of 10 reps with my arm fully straight
