are you sure zinc glucanate is the same? does it give you the weird dreams, same as zma?

These weird dreams sound like fun, i think i'm going to have to start taking some of zinc glucanate
Magnesium is what helps you sleep, so it's probably the culprit for the dreams. Could add that in for a still really cheap ZMA clone...

Guys, I have a question. I already take a vitamin pill in the morning that has about 100mg Magnesium and 10mg Zinc. My post workout shake has about 7.5mg Zinc and 120mg Magnesium. And I was thinking of trying ZMA, after I read your posts that it helps you sleep and recover better. Do you think it is too ok or am I taking way too much minerals??
Thank you.

I take ISS ZMA about 3x a week and inevitably I wake up feeling like I've slept for 3 days straight. it's good stuff, but I think that it potentially might just mask the diet deficiencies from the days when I take it. Regardless, it seems to be a cheap way to feel more rested and to be honest I'd pay the $15 / bottle to feel this way even if it were filled with TUMS.

vitamin B6 = crazy dreams

Mg + B6 = sleep

Yeah, this might be something you have to take into condiseration. The RDA for zinc is 15 mg I believe, but you can take as much as 50 mg without having any problems. Over 50 mg or so the zinc can affect your bodies ability to absorb copper, so you may need to supplement w/ extra copper. However, these figures were guestimated for a sedintary individual, not a hard working bodybuilder, whose demand for zinc is going to be higher than the normal individual. But 10 mg, 7.5 mg, and the 30 mg from ZMA should not pose you a problem I think.

As for Magnesium, from what I read it isn't really toxicty that is a worry at high doses, but rather loose bowels, lolol..........
Not 100% sure what the RDA for magnesium is though.
