anyone try/use this. what are your opinions of it. did you get a better nights sleep with it?

2.opinions on celltech vs. eas phosphagen creatine. i am mulling over which one to buy

Not only do I get better sleep with it, but I get some weird ass dreams :)

Not sure about its claims to normalize test levels as I have not tested myself.

is syntrax straight, better than the 2 i posted, or just cheaper. i actually saw eas phos at dps nutririon for $16 4lb. package. more than half the $ than nurtrition express had it for

I have used ZMA, but didnt notice anything significant (sleep wise) and stopped taking it. Celltech has a ton of sugar 75 grams, in comparision to EAS Phosphagen has 33 grams. I just started taking the Phosphagen HP. I did also buy EAS SytheVol HP, it has no sugar and is suppose to be really good. The problem is it tastes like $hit, most supplements don't taste very good, but this stuff is the worst. So for now Phosphagen HP it is.

Word on the dreams, MRZAP!

I've been dreaming some really vivid, freaky stuff! I'm getting some great sleep though (I guess solid REM sleep would explain it?)!

I take Zinc, Magnesium and B-complex supplements individually before bed. I also take Melatonin and 5-HTP, too. Not to mention about 5 gs of Glutamine.

I truly believe this stack has cured my insomnia.

Haha so I am not the only one. My Zma dreams will be so weird sometimes that I will catch myself stepping away from the dream while I am dreaming it to think, "Uhm this is one weird ass dream"

are you sure zinc glucanate is the same? does it give you the weird dreams, same as zma?

These weird dreams sound like fun, i think i'm going to have to start taking some of zinc glucanate

It was weird b/c when i used zma, i would wake up in the morning with a pump, and the muscles that i worked out the day before had redness in them like i just got done lifting them

re

personally i love zma. i feel results in my recovery and not to mention i makes me blow huge loads. try mixing it with 200mgs of l-theanine at bed time for good sleep

Magnesium is what helps you sleep, so it's probably the culprit for the dreams. Could add that in for a still really cheap ZMA clone...

Guys, I have a question. I already take a vitamin pill in the morning that has about 100mg Magnesium and 10mg Zinc. My post workout shake has about 7.5mg Zinc and 120mg Magnesium. And I was thinking of trying ZMA, after I read your posts that it helps you sleep and recover better. Do you think it is too ok or am I taking way too much minerals??
Thank you.

I take ISS ZMA about 3x a week and inevitably I wake up feeling like I've slept for 3 days straight. it's good stuff, but I think that it potentially might just mask the diet deficiencies from the days when I take it. Regardless, it seems to be a cheap way to feel more rested and to be honest I'd pay the $15 / bottle to feel this way even if it were filled with TUMS.

vitamin B6 = crazy dreams

Mg + B6 = sleep

Yeah, this might be something you have to take into condiseration. The RDA for zinc is 15 mg I believe, but you can take as much as 50 mg without having any problems. Over 50 mg or so the zinc can affect your bodies ability to absorb copper, so you may need to supplement w/ extra copper. However, these figures were guestimated for a sedintary individual, not a hard working bodybuilder, whose demand for zinc is going to be higher than the normal individual. But 10 mg, 7.5 mg, and the 30 mg from ZMA should not pose you a problem I think.

As for Magnesium, from what I read it isn't really toxicty that is a worry at high doses, but rather loose bowels, lolol..........
Not 100% sure what the RDA for magnesium is though.

There is no worrying with magnesium

the intestines control the amount of magnesium absorbed, so any overdosing with magnesium causes diarrhea ...

Ok guys, thanks for the answers. I think I'll change my post workout drink, so I can take ZMA without too much worries. :)
