Brag a little.

I've had a few.......I'll get back to you later. I must let this question simmer for awhile. I've saved peoples lives before but it's not like I prepared or set out to do it!:Chef: :tuc:

freshman year football team. Went from 0 lifting experience OR football experience and 3rd string on the team to first string starter/best defensive player on the team by mid-season. ;) keep in mind my school had about 70 players on the team. We had about 5 strings worth of linebackers. hard work + heart let me overcome alot to get to the top. :)

thanks. I really look back and am disappointed as hell in myself. I made the choice to stop football and take all kinds of nerdy AP courses that i would have to go to all these afterschool sessions for and miss practice and have soooo much homework (over 5 hours worth a night).

I wish i played sophomore year and junior year and this year. Everytime i go to a game i just want to put on a uniform and get out there. :worried: i would have no chance though...theyve all been lifting since end of freshman year. I barely started lifting this past july. Oh well, i could always join some old guy league in a few years and kick ass there.

It's alright. Your education and future employment is far more important. The glory on the field is short lived.

I was big time into synchronized swimming. The first time I went to state was in 7th grade. In 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades I got medals for being in the top 3 for various routines I did. I always sucked at figures. I wish I'd been more driven with them. But with teams and trios I did amazing.

I turned down a duet my SR year though. My partner for it and I knew we'd place top 2 in our division because the routine was so good and we were leg twins (it was almost impossible to tell whose legs were whose when we were upside down). But duets meant staying til 10 instead of 7-8 every week night and meant at least 8-12 hours on Saturdays. No thanks. No regrets. :)
