Some of what this guy said about business cards is DEAD ON, however, more of what he said was sales hype. I gotta give it to him though, his delivery was quite good.

Where he drops the ball BIGTIME IMHO is where he makes the claim that "even if people don't like you, they will keep your business card" (or something to that effect). One of the first rules of business is, that if people don't like you, they AINT gonna do business with you." So what good is it to me if someone keeps my business card? Yea, they will keep it, but all that will happen is that EVERY SINGLE TIME someone picks it up and asks that person about my card is they will say, "Neat card, but that bitch is SUCH a douche."

^^^ Yes, I do realize that this seems to be a contradiction but it really isn't. In other words, if you are effective and NOT a douche people will like you. It's ok to be cocky but it is NOT OK to be a douche.

Personally, I wouldn't do business w/this guy for a few reasons, the biggest is that he is a douche. LOL

He would sell middle incomers easily. High networth individuals *might* be polite to his face if they were in a situation where they HAD to listen to his banter for a minute, but I can guarandamntee you.... MOST would be very turned off if he took that type of *beat you up, look how great I am, aggressive approach*.

People who have worked for me?... I am CERTAIN of it. But then again I decided if they were proficient enough to keep working for me or if I axed them so ask me if I gave a fat rat's ass?

People who have worked for me do NOT = people I do business with. They are employees, period.

I would regularly say out loud on the floor, "I could care less if you call me BITCH under your breath every time I walk by. I have a husband and a family who love me so that's enough for me. I am not here to make friends. I am here to MAKE MONEY. If you are here for any other reason, may I suggest you leave during the next break and NOT return?"

The scene is accurate though. I mean insofaras what the the character on camera is tryin to convey to the cold-caller. Regardless of what the product is, many principles of the sale are the same.
