My girlfriend and I recently broke up. She said she was going to live her life the right way and because we were in love she was gonna honor and respect that love because I was her one "true" love.

Anyway, she calls me up a couple days later saying how she's so sad because her 7 year old son has to have open heart surgery and she has to drop out of college. Her son has alot of problems so this surgery could kill him.

So what does she do instead of spending what could be the last time with her son? She goes out on dates with new men and spends all her time on the phone just telling him to go play with his toys.

How sad is that?
Bad Mothers piss me off.

Are you there with her 24/7 to know if running around is all she does?

Sounds like she is dealing with the stress in a very poor way and I feel for the child if what you say is true.

But at least she feeds, clothes and is not beating the child, true?

No she doesn't beat the child and she feeds him.

But emotionally she neglects him. In the past year I was with her she sat down for 10 minutes and played a game with him. Her son is retarded, epileptic and autistic. He deserves more attention.

It wasn't good that her and I were always fighting around him.

But at least I took the time to play with him, tickle him and make him laugh. I can't even remember when his own mom made him laugh.

The kid isn't mine but he wanted me to be his dad and that really affected me.

I agree if the kid could die she needs to spend the time with him. Kids should come first.

I asked her today why she was out messing around instead of spending time with the kid.

You know what her response was?

She said, "He was sleeping."

I don't know about you, but whether the kid is asleep or not every second is special at a time like this. Especially when you might never get to see him sleep again.

I think "he was sleeping" is a lame A** excuse.

funny that you should come here and dump trash about me because you are upset because of how "our" relationship went. Say whatever you want about me, but don't dare insult my parenting! For someone who is only home on the occasional weekend and lives the rest of his life at school, you sure think you've got it figured out. I am a good person, and a Great Mother, so I guess say what you will, at least I KNOW WHO I AM!
