Report: IDF, Lebanon forces exchange fire on northern border - Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News
Local media reported that the IDF entered a Lebanese village to cut some trees down & place surveillance cameras, the Lebanese Army & UNIFIL tried to stop them & it kicked off from there.
Apparently that's what's being reported in the local media there, anyway.

every year isreal/lebanon get back on the news when it's slow news day here. It's been like that for the past 30 yhears. Then people get tired of the news and then it gets back to Paris Hilton, Lohan or whatever scandalous news. Look up 1990's newspapers, same exact stories only the dates change. People debate when it's the news - as soon as it's off the news, people forget and move on. The rest (including our govt) don't even give a shit and switch the channel as soon as that boring news comes on.
(btw: how many in america even know what gaza strip, plo, hezbollah, beirut, lebanon, palestinain state, jewsish congress, etc. are? 10%? go outside and take a poll! now ask about lindsay lohan.)

as annoying as it is that the Israeli's cut and paste borders on a weekly basis depending on their mood that week.....they are getting baited by Hezbollah. This is what happens when rockets get fired into Israel....they should just tell the lebanese where they plan on putting camera's and have the backing of rocket attacks in that area to justify it. But as usual the Israeli's just figure they are the chosen ones and just show up on someone else's border and start cuttin shit down. They LOVE IT when hezbollah lobs some rockets across the border cause it's an excuse for them to do fuck all they want. All of those people in that area are like totally the awesomest people on the planet.....real examples of human beings for sure.
