Last I checked the SAW was 5.56......FN does make a 7.62 version which some of the special forces may have replaced the m-60 with. But I'm pretty sure the m-60 is still what the heavy gunners are using. My friends SEAL team had one guy with a SAW and one guy with the M-60......I'm pretty sure between those two you have complete field suppression, lol.
