or has it gone out of favor today?

wondering if it will help my knee tendon to heal up faster after surgery...... :whatever:

I suggested this to my mother like a decade ago... she had problems with side effects of the prescription medications for arthritis/joint pain. She's used it for a long time and swears by it.

I don't remember the basic mechanisms of it, nor if it will work to repair something like your case.

:cow:

We spend tons on vitamins and supps and this is usually a staple in my "medicine" cabinet. However this cycle I didn't get any and 3 weeks in I am picking some up on my way home. My joints are killing me. Even my fingers are sore. Make sure you get the triple, gluc/chondrotin/msm

it's just the building blocks for repair, not the catalyst. Growth hormone nucca!!! The G/C is fine, but without growth telling the body where and how to repair something, not as effective. GH is the final word on the body healing itself from practically anything short of an amputation......it's the only thing that activates stem cells in the body. But soon, thanks to your boy obama..., they'll have surgical procedures which directly introduce stem cells to injured parts of the body. It's really stem cells that are god, just that right now GH is the only thing that activates them.

I've been on HGH since 2004 and yes, it is the ultimate joint-fixer. It improves the quality of connective tissue incredibly.

I've also tried different mixtures of Condritin / Glucosimine / etc. etc. before and while taking HGH and they didn't do shit for me. I gave them some time (months, even) and they had no effect. Sometimes the stuff was in the protein shake I drank and sometimes I took GNC's "Triflex" (or something like that). Again, they didn't do squat.

About 12 days ago, I started drinking a can of "Supple" -- 1/day. I would have never even tried it, but a guy at the gym I had decent respect for swore by it. I'm naturally a very skeptical person, particularly of supplements, but I think this may be working. I've noticed less joint pain when I load heavy on incline and military press, which is normally when I feel the most pain.

If anyone else is interested in trying to repeat the experiment, please PM me about 12-14 days into taking the stuff and tell me if it works for you too. I'm tempted to stop taking it after a month just to see if things get worse again, but I think I'd chicken-out because I wouldn't want to risk joint pain again (yeah, that's why doing science on yourself is a waste).

I'm not going to explain what can be easily googled, but just so you know it takes a couple months of G & C before you will feel any results.

That's what I've always heard as well. What I do know is I have a very specific point in both incline bench and seated military press (seated) where my shoulders start aching for days. Today I went 40 lbs over my pain point (personal best for me). I should be sitting here with aching shoulders. Normally it's a god-aweful throbbing feeling I get for about 2-36 hours after a workout that I just can't escape. But instead I feel absolutely great.

This supple stuff has 1,500 mg of glucosamine HCL, 1,200 mg of chondrotin sulfate and 110 mg of rebaudoside-A. It's got me wondering if you just need big doses of the stuff.

We have some around, for the dog actually, but I've never used it myself. I still have the joints of a college kid so no worries.

glucosamine-chondrotin is good but it is sooooo 2007.

Seriously, I still take it but I tell you Cissus (Cissus quadrangularis) is so much better. I have real bad joints from all the nonsense I did in the military and I did something to my shoulder and elbow a while back and glucosamine-chondrotin didn't do the trick, but Cissus totally eliminated the pain. It is the best supplement for joints on the market today, hands down.

Read up on it, it is the bomb. Also, the caps can be pricey. I get it in bulk power at bulknutrition.

are you on Gh year round? what dosage?

I'm prescribed for 2 of the Genotropin Mini-Quicks per day for 5 days on / 2 days off per week. I use the 0.8g (2.4 IU) ones so my total dosage is 4.8 units/day.

In practice, I probably do 7-8 shots per week instead of the full 10. I don't shoot anytime near eating, so sometimes I can't do a morning or afternoon shot.

that's not an insubstantial amount of GH. 5 iu's a day is a pretty good dose even for the guys at the sterod board. That seems excessive for general health purposes....unless you're powerlifting..?? And you're using top flight american GH, so your 5 iu's translates to 6-7 iu's for the type of GH more commonly used. Have you experienced any sides? You should have zero joint problems at that dose by the way........unless you're powerlfting or doing year round 5x5 routines, in which case I understand.

I started in 2004 at 2.0 IU/day and the anti-aging service I use slowly took me up to the 4.8 IU/day period over around an 18 month period. The program has mandatory bloodwork which occurs every 6 weeks (but I sometimes dodge one) and they determine the dosage based on what it takes to get you to the very top of the normal range.

what do they check, circulating IGF levels? And has the GH had positive effects on your testosterone levels "without" test supplementation?

I'm keen on staying completely natural now for the foreseeable future accept when it comes to growth. I'm wondering what effect GH has on the rest of the bodies hormonal profiles.

Almost every six weeks, I have at least 3 (and usually 5 or 6) vials of blood drawn. They measure test, free test, estrogen, DHT, prolactin, lipids, cbc, IGF-1, liver panels, PSA (and more).

I'll do HGH year-round on 5-on/2-off and only cycle test for 10 weeks/year. In a nutshell, HGH makes the test you have go a lot farther and when you do introduce exogenous test, it takes far less. For me, I can effectively cycle on 200-300 mg of test per week and feel juiced to the gills. At 400 mg/week of test, I jump to a reasonably lean 270+ lbs but I want to eat everything in sight.

I Have never had joint pain, unless it was an injury, I Take MSM ,Glusomanine suflate, and eat jello 3 time a week, Why? Becausse Gellatin has shown to help repair that spongey tissue between bones, and when i occasionally get a nagging injury this work wonders ------> Pain Relief Cream - Stopain
