working out without weights

It's already been mentioned as a "quad exercise", but sprinting is one of the best things you can do for conditioning and nutrient partitioning. You could try three sessions per week of repeats of different distances each time (say, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m). Given that you don't have to worry about progressing on squats and other "leg exercises", you could put quite a bit of effort into these.

Holy shit is this guy right! I did some 100 yard sprints and I am a hell of a lot sorer than doing 5x10 of 305lb squats. My tricepts and abs even hurt.

You really got to bust ass though. Ive always been a good sprinter (even at 6'5) but I havent ran in a while. Lets just say I almost drove off the road on my way home from the track.
