I used to be like them, because I don't want to be quite that big, but I appreciate that kind of determination and the strides one must go through to reach such a level of, well, tremendousness.

The "don't want to be quite that big" part reminds me of something I heard Arnold say recently in an interview. He said he always used to laugh when new trainees under his care would say "I want to work out but I don't want to be too big." He laughed, "Would you go to a golf pro to take lessons and say, 'I want to learn to play golf, but I don't want to be as good as Tiger Woods. Ok?'" Ha ha, don't sweat it pal, somehow I think that won't be a problem . . .

Well, possibly, but the analogy isn't perfect. See, I'm not in it for bodybuilding, as any sort of competitive activity or career. Just as a hobby.

but i did see someoen doing those for my first time ever...and he was cheating like a fucking bitch, almost making his back parallel to the floor....

he had pretty nice biceps too- so maybe theres something to it

At my yuppie gym today, my buddy overheard a couple of teens who were point me out, making comments like "thats gross, why would anyone want to look like that"....He said I should go over and scare them, but I took it as a compliment, if everyone was huge then I would never stand out
