wierd post injection feeling....normal?

Hey guys,
I just shot 2ml in my gluteus medias, i think, last night and today my whole right hip flexor feels like I got a charlie horse or something. It is hard to walk and feels week, not sore, just week and sharp pain, like a sports injury or something, hard to explain. The reason I said "i think" is b/c i think i might of injected too far forward. Basically I put my hands on my hips and injected below my palm. I had injected adequan there before with no problems at all, so I now did my oil shot and this happens. Is this normal? Can someone give me a good description of where exactly the gluteus medias site is, so i can maybe tell if I at least got the right site? thanks.

I believe that is gluteal maximus, but that picture on top helps, I think I was too far forward on my hip and that was the problem.

No....it should subside in the next couple of days. If not, then you need to investigate further.

it feels a little better today, but I can't understand what caused it. I didn't hit a nerve or anything, could just the volume of oil do that?
