Why don't pros Join Elite?

I personally know of a pro basketball player who is a member here. Posts all the time, too. No one would ever guess from the stuff he posts. I've seen his posts where he had to be in the locker room on a laptop, and I've talked to him on the phone while he was posting.

The last person that I would want to take AAS advice from would be a pro basketball player.....

Most of his posts are Chat and BTS, some on diet and he usually jumps in on rec drug threads.

What do you want them to do come on here and say "hey, I'm Dexter Jackson, I have some illegal steroid advice for you, while I'm at it, want to buy some?" I'm sure there are lots and lots of pro's on here.

lol

dude, beutifulbiceps is a member, he made a post today and said he was going to be the future Mr. O.

ok..
I mean, why don't some put there name up, Example. Dexter Jackson. They dont need to talk about what they take or w/e. Just help people out. Dexter joined Bodybuilding.com forums for a bit. I only know this because I typed his name into google and it came up.

and you are positive it was the real dexter jackson huh

Do you really think that was dexter jackson that was typing on the computer? I would bet anything (especially on that board) that whoever was typing was not dexter jackson

I'm serious they are afraid of being targeted here. This is the most watched board by Law Enforcement by far. They just wouldn't post here.
Thankfully we have a new congress so the spotlight may go to the drug companies and not the steroid users like it was when the democrats where jailing people from the FDA and not from the steroid world.

it was... Bodybuilders have some spare time. Why not get to know your fans?

No pros are going to give you any more insight than most of the vets here could. And in fact I would trust the vets here more than I would a pro bb. Simply because pro's are for the most part genetics freaks. Almost anything will work for them. The majority of us need to know from experience what will work for people with "average genetics", not genetic mutants.

^^^^ agree with mak...

i train with 2 pros that frequent flex, M&F ect.. ect.. They train in a way that most everyone would fall on their face... Ive seen guys train 3 times in one day, not including cardio..

Of the 200 plus million people in the US, about 50 of them are current, well known "top" bodybuilders.. Unfortunately, either you got it or you dont.....

Yeah that's true. Some of them live in the gym. For one it's just not possible for us that actually work for a living to do that. On top of that most of us would shrink from overtraining while attempting it!

good point. The genetic freak thing, I think that only applies to a few.

Yer i realy am brad pitt you got me .
Brad. :)

There are a few here and there. They usually don't post who they are on boards, unless they have a contract with the person who owns it. Then they usually show up for a week or two and then never post again. It's really like that at bbing.com. It's bs.

Elite was/is a ground breaking, hardcore board for many years. As more and more people joined, it become a melting pot of not just bodybuilders and powerlifters, but people interested in general fitness as well. One thing that hasn't changed is the quality of advice you will find here. Try getting a quick response at another board, it won't happen. If you post a question or concern, on Elite you will have a broad spectrum of replies within a few hours. It's a fast paced board with some golden vets. I would trust most of their advice over any pro's. Most of the pro's have people telling them how to do everything from what to eat, to how to wipe their a$$. That's not all pro's, but believe me, it's more than you'd like to think. They are some of the last people I would go to for cycle, training, etc advice.

Watch out guys, we got a regular Sherlock Holmes on our hands.

We have many pros and movie starst that visit EF. We get calls and e-mails often from known athletes and actors who some how read stuff that is posted about them on the forums. They all threaten with their lawyers and they all ask we delete their name off the site.

Some times the stories are from people that knew them in person before they became famous... It's funny as shit.

We delete the 1-2 posts, or just edit out their name. We never give them a hard time about it. Some times its cool if they call in person... One time I told the actor's supposed "lawyer" (the one who called) that all it would take to delete the thread was a call from the man himself. An hour later I had him on the phone, I got to chat with a pretty well known actor that day. But no matter how much he cried, I still haven't deleted the "was Brad Pitt juicing for fight club" threads off the site.

Jennifer Anniston I knew she trolls around here

That's funny BRR:D

There are many professional BB'ers/athletes/actors, etc that post here. There were a ton a few years back.

As good as this board is, I do agree with Ulter, in that it does scare a lot of "others" away because it is "The Most Controversial" board on the 'net.

BMJ

if I was a pro I would not use my real name on a steroid board. common sence, no one wants that kind of attention. bad enough half the world belives you can win mr.o naturally, let them belive that.

We have a pro strongman and an Olympic coach that I know of.

Edit:
I'll just add, to head off any suggestion that their names be besmirched, that these guys post almost exclusively in the strength and training forums and, to my knowledge, have never posted in the juicer forum.

You ain't never gonna let me live that one down are you?

Next time I see him though, I am going to whip his ass. Calling me a liar. Pfft!

Oh and we did have some pros that posted here. Toney Freeman being the last and newbies harassed him to the point of no return with roid questions and he left.

They hang out over on MM and GB simply becuase the members over there are usually schmoes with a secret muscle lust fetish. They like the attention.

if you were an actor or pro athelete would YOU tell people who you were? there are often consequences for such actions.

Steroids are still in many way villified, in many cases being openly associated with them can be quite detrimental to a career.

So it's official. I have fallen in with the "wrong crowd". I'm so proud of myself, I'd like to thank the Academy for their support and encouragement :)

I'd honeslty put my knowledge, diet and nutrional wise, up against 99% of the pros out there.....that's not tooting my own horn, but seriously speaking.

I'd put some of our bodybuidler's knowledge up against many of the pros....

and I'd put our strongmen up against em too.......

So, all in all, what the hell does pros have that this board doesn't? Cash? A ton of aas...fame......and EXPERIENCE.....that would be the sole purpose....the EXPERIENCE.
