Sorry guys but I can't keep my mouth shut on this one. I am a little incensed. (That's pissed for all you Michigan fans) The premise of the opening volley in this thread is that our individual use of many of the supplements both advertised and discussed here is somehow tantamount to cheating. Cheating? Here follows the actual definition.....
cheat /tʃit/ Show Spelled
[cheet] Show IPA
–verb (used with object)
1. to defraud; swindle: He cheated her out of her inheritance.
2. to deceive; influence by fraud: He cheated us into believing him a hero.
3. to elude; deprive of something expected: He cheated the law by suicide.
–verb (used without object)
4. to practice fraud or deceit: She cheats without regrets.
5. to violate rules or regulations: He cheats at cards.
6. to take an examination or test in a dishonest way, as by improper access to answers.
7. (Informal) . to be sexually unfaithful
I'd be curious to know from anyone how my/our use of prohormones, AAS, etc. et.al. fits into any of those. The TRUTH is it doesn't! As previously stated here the only way it could is if I belonged to a group, entity or club where it was expressly forbidden for whatever reason. And I, like many here, belong to no such thing.
But here is where I truly lose my temper. And please, wrap your mind around this boys and girls. I can legally go jump out of an airplane. I can go down to my local liquor store and buy all the booze and cigarettes I wish and drink and smoke myself to death. If I were a woman and pregnant, I could go have the baby growing inside my womb extracted and killed. I could have all manner of surgery performed on my body including changing myself from male to female. I can get tattooed and riveted with steel from head to toe. And I can eat cheeseburgers, pizza and ice cream all day, every day until I weigh 900lbs and can't even walk. Then I can apply for disability and get you the taxpayer to support my fat ass! All these things and more am I perfectly within my legal rights to do. And yet some do-gooder somewhere has made the command decision that I am NOT allowed to take advantage of the scientific advancements over the last 30 years and injest products, at my own discretion, to increase my body's output of testosterone and/or better utilize the testosterone my body does produce to therefore improve my health, well-being and strength. I submit to you ladies and gentlemen that this is the epitome of hypocrisy.
So, to whoever started this ridiculous thread or may agree with it's premise, do us all a favor, go sink your time and energy into something worthy. Like kids who don't have coats, shoes or enough to eat. Or stand and rail against tobacco companies profiting from death or any number of things that exist in our world to its detriment. But stay the hell out of my mouth and my gut. You weren't invited and you are not welcome. AAS and prohormones aren't the bane of our society. Ignorance, apathy, laziness and selfishness are, which this site and most of it's members (as best I can tell) stand steadfastly against. ooorah!
