Why do women expect you to buy them flowers?

Get a nice proper hispanic or italian girl, they know how to treat their men right and they know how to act like a real woman, not any of this I-am-woman-hear-me-roar crap you see now. You take care of them, they take care of you bro.

I am interested in doing that. My thread about developing economies has that very much in mind.

I once did an interpretive dance performance called "I am woman, hear me roar. I am man, watch me weep." I actually was called to do a repeat performance for a larger audience. It went over quite well.

Wherever did you get the idea that women expect men to buy them flowers? I know you couldn't have gotten that idea from too many women because most of us do not 'expect' it. I know I don't. But like most everyone else said, it's the little unexpected gifts that mean the most. I would take a cute little card over a bouquet of long-stemmed roses any day of the year. By the way, it also makes me really happy to be the one giving little gifts to someone I care about too.

But, hey, if you don't want her to feel...that's the key word with women my friend...like she's something special, something incredible to you, then you can just keep striking out. Flowers, by the way, are just ONE small but effective way you can do that. Know how to make each one feel....

I dont need any gifts for my hunnie to show m that he loves me and care about me. Him saying I love you most of the time and hanging out with me is way enough. Is the little things that matter most ( hugs, calls, asking "how are you?" etc) but yet if he insist on buying me gifts then I can't stop him.
