Why do people duck when running from the rain?

I usually try to keep my glasses from getting wet if I am wearing them. It's a bitch having drops of water in front of your eyes. I had never really thought about why I duck. It doesn't keep you any drier. I suppose it's just a natural instinct to tuck and run.

I use to hate getting my glasses wet. It never failed that once I got in my car I couldn't find anything to wipe them off with.

And big4life, that's exactly why I hate it. I never have anything to wipe them on, and I always hated having smudges on them.

That's why the best thing I ever did was get lasik surgery. It's good to be able to see again, especially when you wake up in the morning, without having to reach for my glasses.

That only works if you have pockets dear. For example, today I would be screwed because I'm in a skirt with my purse in the car.

I would love to have the lasik surgery, but I can't afford it yet. One day though. Luckily though, I can see just fine without my glasses. They are just handy if I'm driving or need to see super-far away.
