Why Do Older Chicks Cut Their Hair in Their 40s and 50s?

The reason is that long hair on a young girl enhances her youth and makes her look younger. Long her on an aging woman makes her look much older. Now the trick is the right hair cut. That's when most people screw up. My mom switched to neck lenght hair at about 50 years old. Her cut is always done by an upscale salon in NYC by some French Stylist and the hair style makes her look years younger. It's all about the cut, i think any woman will agree on this, a good hair dresser is worth his/her weight in gold.

I don't know if I agree with you second sentence. I mean if long hair makes a young girl look younger why would long hair on a older lady make her look older? I think they are going to look old no matter what but at least they have hair that looks good. You know so make them turn around backwards when they are on top.

tc2 for the win.. I think he hit the nail on the head..

Its always some bitchy middle aged wife.. stops thinking she needs to astay sttractive for her husband.. then bitches because he is fuckign his hot secretary.

LOL, it's one of those things. Long hair on an old woman makes her look older, it actually ages them. You would have to see it in person to see what i mean. As people age the shape of your face changes. Hair styles can accentuate it or really change it. Long hair is really a look that goes well with just about every young shapely face, When your face drops a bit, long hair will accentuate the drop and age you more. Also with age long hair does not shine and keep like a young persons, it tends to look very dry and frizzy.

It's kinda like the skirt thing, a mini for a young girl makes her look younger and sexier, but a mini on an older woman looks very classless and actually a longer skirt looks sexier on an older woman, but less attractive on a young girl.

I agreed on the most of this whole thread. On a side note a hot woman in her 40's or 50's who really cares about still looking hot usually still has , long colored hair. As most of know those are far and few between. Also women's hair does thin as they age and it's something most guys don't think about.

My wife's 34 and I've been telling her for a couple of years now to cut it short (her hair not my penis). She does'nt really want to I guess.

I think it's just easier for her to manage and would not be in the way, blow drying, fixing... etc. Nice short to the top of the shoulders. She'd look great in anything IMO. We got very tight schedules and if that would save her tons of time... why not? She's had very long hair in the past, now it's a bit shorter but still not short enough IMO.

beuz us guys don't walk to walk behind some hot chick with glowing locks of blond hair. She turns around, and EEK!!! It's Grandma! PUKE.
