OMG, it takes WAY less time, and if you've got the right bank it's free as opposed to $.39 cents an envelope.

My ENTIRE monthly bill paying takes about 20 minutes, and that counts going out to one bank and three separate credit card sites.

I get an update email anytime a new bill comes in.

I got online at my leisure... check 'approve' boxes for each bill and they get paid on time but not before.

I got pwnt by autopay. Luckily none of the bills were credit related, just utilities, but it still pissed me off. I got notices in the mail that my electric and gas were going to be shut off if I didn't make a payment, I checked my bank account, and nothing has been taken out. I called the bank and they were all, "Oops. Sorry." Yeah. If my house or CC pmts were set up on that my credit would be fooked. I changed banks.

That's why none of the credit obligations were set up on it. I pay my insurance in full when I get the bill and just had the utilities set up on it. Not like it mattered.
