Bor, every administration lies - there is no rational reason for one party (taxpayers) to give their money to a government unless many lies are told. Government has to invent problems to keep power in a democracy. They do it in Australia too, everywhere.

Since the Continental Congress, this has been going on in the US. Populism and class warfare came on real big during the industrial revolution. The founders recognized that most people have shit for brains, which is why we were an elitist government at first. Only white, property owning men could vote.

I would support a system today where only property owners could vote. Elitism is the best system of government.

No one cares about Africa. No one ever has. No one ever will. Atrocities there are perfectly OK with me and most Americans. The US needs oil, not Africans. Everyone knows that, and I am perfectly OK with sending in the tanks to preserve our standard of living.

In other news...

The US economy would get a monster bump if we phased out social security and medicare entirely. And there would be plenty of money for vets. If anyone has any rational (meaning, not appeals to emotion about how grandma can't buy her pills....maybe grandma had 70 years to save) arguments for why we should keep these programs, let me know.

Even if you were in the military.. after you get out. YOU STILL HAVE TO GET A FUCKING JOB JUST LIKE THE REST OF US.

Serving in the military.. even during war doesnt entitle you to free housing or guarantee you a job.



And I somewhat agree with Matt.. but not to the degree of being a "landowner" there are many people in California with good jobs and great educations who cant afford to buy a home.

But i dotn agree that some ghetto rat who only cares about her welfare check shopuld ahve the same voting power as someone who has actually contributed to soceity.
