Oh I totally know this. I have been ignoring him for the last two days but I decided I wanted to have a little fun with the kid since he seems to be about as intelligent as a slug... ok ok maybe a squirrel.

Yeah - I actually have come to like the fair skin look. Took me awhile but then I saw some beautiful women with dark hair, light eyes, fair skin, and I didn't mind so much anymore.

Im similar. The only place where I tanned really well was in Greece. I couldn't believe how bronze I looked (and it was a healthy look, too). But no such luck here.

good move IP, I have skin like yours and tanned for years. Did it all through my 20's and 30's and 2 yrs ago I was diagnosed with skin cancer.
Damage, my derm said, was done years ago and only appeared later on.
I had to have a HUGE hole cut out of my forehead to the cancer removed. It was not pleasant! Then I had to have my back cut up and then was on chemo cream!

2. You seem to be following, down to a T, the "Secret Manual for Newbies craving attention" and the "Attention Whoring 101" so popular with EF newbie female posters. Nothing wrong there, but then again, nothing new, we have seen it 100's of times already, so any sense of differentiation you might experience is just a figment of your imagination.

3. What is disturbing though, is the fact that not only do you crave for attention but you also crave for reassurance and acceptance, you want to feel yourself "one of the team". I don't crave attention my friend, I was having fun with the entertainment factor. If I want attention/acceptance I am not going to look for it on a message board - I will look for it in real life because then obviously, the result would be much more rewarding. And at times sure, I don't take criticism well, we all have our weaknesses but I ignored Sublime for days until I realized that you know what, who gives a rats ass and just have fun with the kid and post. P.S.
