I just did and it's fugin sweet. 52 washes for only 4 bucks. It was tested against Consumer Reports top brand Tide with bleach alternative. The stain results came out identical. Not to mention it makes your house smell so fresh and so clean when making it.

Fuck I should start doing that

Look at me I have washing machine!

yes he does. She has nice tits too!

Yeah, that old boraxo hand soap is still one of the best, most pure soaps you can buy. Good stuff.

I buy a HUGE "ALL free of scents" and shit, tide is overpriced IMO
I buy it at costco or bjs with a coupon for like 12- 13 bucks
It lasts a family of 3 about at least 4 months. I'll stick with my method
BTW you only use a qtr or half cap of that shit or else it ruins your machine quicker, more is not better. They're probably doing cost comparisons where people are actually using a capfull

You'll pay around 18 bucks for 52 washes with the leading consumer brand. It comes out to be around nine washes with homemade to one of the name brand. This website is what I used as a reference. You can't get a more descriptive step to step guide then this. The cost comparison breakdown is in there too.

I haven't seen wash soda or borax for sale in years. Do they have these things at your neighborhood supermarket or Walmart?

Well you could be spending a quarter of that for less time it takes to go out and buy it.

I hate fabric softener and dryer sheets, they smell bad and make the clothes feel greasy.

Borax + sugar + enough water to make it syrupy = DEAD ants. :D Cheapest ant killer out there. Even if they die off before they make it back to their colony, a dead ant is a good one. "for some odd reason we have a shit load of ants here????"

Whiskey

Bro, costco 200 loads for like 12-15 bucks, minus the labor of the shit you're doing. It's not worth your time once you calculate that in there (even if it only takes you 5 minutes).

we use the homade soap at my house. helps out with all the clothes between the five of us. well actually my father in law makes it and just gives it to us for free.
