Cops can type on their little laptop computer thingy, but you can't text?
I used to get pulled over all the time for my flip up screen in my stereo. They would try and tell me I couldn't have that in view of the driver. I'd always ask them about the screen in their vehicles.

Fucked up thing is I can be simultaneously texting, eating, and screwing with the radio and still drive better than the Asians around here with their hands at 10:00 and 2:00.

My last shift in the ED I had an 8 year old who was killed because her teenage sister was texting while driving. Last month I had a motorcyclist who was killed after a lady pulled out in front of him. Witnesses said she was texting.
It really is a serious issue. People think they can text and drive, but in reality we aren't as good at it as we think.
Don't do it. It's as simple as that. You risk your life and the lives of others when you do it.

+1 my phone has a qwerty, so it's easier for me atleast to type quickly.....that also requires 2 hands which is why i try to do it at stoplights...

I do it on occasion...
I have a 0-9 keypad, but I can set it to predictive text and I know even things like when I type "Kiss" (lol) it comes after "lips", "me" comes after "of" and so on. I can type fast and one handed.
I post on here all the time on the road. I love surfing the web in traffic.
