I will be the first one to admit that a little fresh paint does a face good as we age, but if a man does not find me devastatingly appealing WITHOUT IT or if he REQUIRES IT then I don't take it personally. This just means that he isn't the man for me. I press the eject button and send him on his merry way! :) [/B]

Before you push eject I didn't say that I require her to wear makeup but I sure do like doiing the wild thing with her better if she does. See what I am saying?

UGH! I hate having sex if I have makeup on... shmeared paint is ICKY....

But I understand that you prefer that your woman give her look a little extra attention - kind of like working out. It is all good.

And for the record, I have yet to be intimate with a man that PREFERED me to wear makeup. When I get all decked out, ready TO KILL (LOL) they were pleased with my look just as much as they were pleased how I looked first thing in the morning with my hair all messy and night-time poopies still in my eyes. :)

PPS - a well known fact. You're dead wrong. Make-up was used by nobility throughout the world before cameras existed. They had portraits and social gatherings that made it "useful", and they often used lead-based creams and other nasty concoctions to cover up skin blemishes, which were (of course) quite common. Some had wigs. Some people cleansed their faces in puppy urine. One countess would use the blood of virgins. Prostitutes used things like rouge (sp?) and other items often, too.

It was, and is, all about advertising.

I, however, don't like false advertising.

Ummm nope, I am not dead wrong.

Make up was always used by "aristocrasy" or "the ruling class" - pharoahs, queens, etc.... "the beautiful people"

I am talking about THE REST OF US.

1) Don't ASSume the REST of US are NOT from aristocraCy.

2) WHERE in YOUR previous POSTS did YOU mention "I am talking about THE REST OF US."?

I'm not a fan of make-up myself.

I'm very low maintenance myself........i'm lucky in that i have good genes (and plenty of greek olive oil coarsing through my veins which helps:D) so i do prefer a girl who is low maintenance as far as make-up goes.

I don't get fooled. Make-up does not make that much difference to how a woman looks.

Ladies, the secret to young looking skin is plenty of Greek olive oil in the diet.

I am terribly sorry....

I didn't realize that Curling's question was directed at the ruling class.

MY BAD.

You SHOULD be. I didn't REALIZE Curling's QUESTION asked THE history OF cosmetics.
