There are alot of people that hate John Gotti and there are alot of people that love John Gotti, personally I like him I like the way he carried himself, he did nothing to the average Joe! Also he was loyal,He never said a word once he was in jail 3 times in his life and and he never turned anybody in once never said a word, On the other hand you have scum bags like Sammy the Bull, who kills 19 people, servers 5 years for 19 fucking murders! Gets out because he ratted everybody out! On the other hand Gotti got life for being loyal and never saying a word! Im not saying I agree what Gotti did in his life but I respect how he went out! I guarantee you that if you were looking at serving a long time in prison that 95% of people would take the easy way and tell all the info they could to make it easier on themselves even if that was selling your best friend down the river for an easier sentence! well thats my 2cents!

Anyone ever seen Gotti's son? That dude has definitely done some bad orals. He's in jail now, for some candy-ass coviction. I saw him back in the mid 90's, after he inherited his father's position. He was strutting his fat ass in some cheesy track suit while him and his hang-arounds shook down night clubs.
Gotti was a loud mouth. If your going to be i/c of a major crime family, don't be shooting off your mouth(about murders) on the telephone! I couldn't fuckin believe the shit that guy disclosed on those wire taps. The Italians have lost their edge in organized crime. The Russians are the one that scare the shit out of me. They play by a different set of rules.

did anyone see that HBO special in which they showed the videotaped conversations gotti had with visitors in jail? one of his nephews or something like that said he wanted to be a proffesional basketball player and gotti got pissed and told him he would have to be a piece of shit steroid user to play pro sports. he then went on to compare steroid users to crack-heads..of course gotti told him "ya aint gonna play sports, ya gonna be a fucking lawyer." haha like lawyers are better than crack-heads.

the irony in gotti critiscing steroids users is immense considering Gravano was using them and his son when he took over the family was a well known supplier,

He actually gave money to repair buildings where living conditions of many people were horrible, threw BBQ's and invited anyone who wanted to show up, he gave to the poor and was always willing to help out people that the government would not give 2 cents to.
He chose to lead the life he did and he ended up paying for it in the end but it doesn't mean that he didn't touch people's hearts along the way. If someone had helped my family out in a crisis, I would not give a shit if they went around killing other so-called criminals.
So all you people that just call him a murderer it's time to stop watching CNN and actually talk to some people who lived in the same neighborhood and actually knew him.
PS: If you're so into this American Justice bullshit you would know O.J. was never convicted of murder therefore he is not a murderer. Ahhh, the american judicial system...gotta love it.
