White people, have you ever said something racist and be willing to admit it?

I was born and raised in Kentucky, so yes. I never went to school with a black person until college. We have two schools in my town (which is small) and the schools are racially divided. I remember seeing the Klan march in a parade when I was small and they are still around.
I don't consider myself racist, but it is sort of bred into alot of people around here. I almost feel sorry for many of them because their just ignorant and have never known any better. I don't think anyone is innocent when it comes to having used derogatory labels for the various ethnic groups, etc... around their areas.

Under my philosophy, a person can't be bad just for his skin color. What makes a person bad or inferior compared to other, is it's cultural level/type, education, traditions, idiosincracy, critical thinking, use of logic, common sense. Now if we analize, we can find a lack of these components usually, and unfortunatelly related to some races and/or country of origin. Now can we say that those races having a lack of these components have less capacity or an "inferior" brain? NO. The cause of this is a) segregation and discrimination forcing them to stay for generations away from a good education b) victim of an dictatorial/abusive/socialist system on it's country of origin. Based on this I repeat that there is no intelectual differences between races. They all have the same capacity and abilities.
Solution: The responsibility is on each person. Each one has the power to make the difference. We are now on Century 21, United States of America. In these days there is no reason to be mediocre. We all have the same opportunities, all equal by law. If you come here to talk about "my country", That is wrong. If you are on the streets asking for money, That is wrong. Anything related to a way of thinking that leads to a 3rd world lifestyle, is wrong, regardless of color, language, religion, nationality. Move your ass, use that brain, work hard. And remember: Your freedom ends where other's freedom begin.

I don´t see why they didn´t leave in time though, the government and publics anti semitism was quite loud and clear before any killing started. Then again there was no real precedent.

They were killed because they were religious, and thus would've gotten in the way of Hitler's plans of conquering Europe. Plus they were easy people to conquer first. Few jews had anyting in terms of military power.
Germany's population were too busy trying to find food and survive with heavy dependence on the government. Most didn't care or wanted to know what the government was doing. Kinda like how we view earthquakes in Pakistan ("Yeah so?")
